Brief Personal History:
Southern girl born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina by her father who is a prominent business man in the area, being of Charleston lineage (the Calhoun family is one of the oldest in Charleston). Her mother died during child birth and her father never remarried, making Karina his primary concern. During her years at preparatory school Karina learned of a program called the “OoP” (Order of Peacebringers) she offered herself as a host against her fathers wishes – she wanted to be something more then just a “SNOB” (which is what the old Charlestonian families are called) she enrolled in the College of Charleston to stay close to home...during her second year she completed her 10 year kheldian training, she was immediately assigned as a host for emergency reasons, at this time she dropped out of college to venture to Paragon City to help complete the job her kheldian’s original host started...she is super friendly and outgoing, willing to help any fellow heroes and takes her job as hero and kheldian host very seriously. Her father has come to realize why she took on this task and has accepted it though he worries about her, she still calls him ‘daddy’ =)
