Brief Personal History:
The hero known as Meltman is not the first one to carry that name. It was first used by a Mr. Sam Percer in the 1930s. Mr. Percer was a private detective whose adventures were recalled in a newspaper strip that was adored by the second Meltman, Eric Jameson. Eric Jameson used this name while under the control of an evil alien symbiote known only as Gerald, then later when Eric cast off Gerald when he discovered his own latent mutant light controlling powers. A few months ago, the 2nd Meltman disappeared under mysterious circumstances. In recent weeks, a 3rd hero calling himself Meltman appeared in Paragon City. It was first suspected that this new Meltman was the 2nd Meltman in a new costume, and some even speculated that it was a bizarre zombie cyborg version of the original Meltman. However, studying footage of this new Meltman make things clear that the current Meltman has a skeleton of a completely different proportion to the other two Meltmen.

According to this new Meltman, the first thing he remembered was waking up on an opperating table in a strange looking high-tech laboratory. He was then injected with chemicals that he was unfamilair with. He was then thrown into a small metal cell and subjected to extremely bright, possibly ultraviolet lights. His skin then lit on fire, burning every inch of his epidermis, but for some unexplained reason, not his hair or what little clothes he had on. He found that when he willed the fire to go away, it did, and discovered that he could focus enough to generate small amounts of flame from his body. However, the process had left him in an extreme amount of pain and he was slowly dying through lack of oxygen being able to pass through his skin. He soon passed out.

When he next awoke, he was incased in a strange biometalic armor that he was told had been developed for use in operations behind enemy lines for the government but had been cancelled for budgetary reasons. The suit was also able to regulate many aspects of a persons biology, and therefore was able to keep the subject alive despite the 3rd degree burns covering his entire body. His hands were left free however, with only bandages covering them. These bandages were coated in a fluid that kept his hands healed enough that what pain remained was at a tolerable level. This allowed him to use his fire powers without lighting his body on fire again. The suit also still contained the defensive weaponry it was originally concieved to have. This included many electrical detainment devices, some long range and some short range.

While enroute to another facility for "further study" "Lee", as he had been called by one of his guards, managed to work one of his hands free from the restraints and melt the wheels of the transportation vehicle. During the ensuing chaos "Lee" was able to escape by melting the seal on the back door. He designed some clothes to put over top the armor suit and began his life of crime fighting, putting what little past he had behind him.

The suit he uses is a prototype he developed. After telling his sons about creating the suit with Crey's help, they asked for him to never interfere with them; David hasn't been spotted with either of his sons since this arguement. Brief Personal History: Sapphire Bullets. Roger Singleton was…is the only person that I can remember ever loved me. He wasn’t the owner of sapphire mines to me. He was a father figure. He wanted nothing more than to find a cure for my Mitokrallis, a disease that inhibits the production of energy within cells mitochondria. After spending 12 years in a bed, the offer to participate in the research project at the Lab sounded good. The Lab did this to me. They turned me into a machine of war. They said I would probably be able to lead a normal life. They never told us I could become a freak. They reversed the effects of my illness all right. Now excess energy is built up in my body and must be released. The gloves I wear protect me from that release. The Lab was not just a research facility it was also a sort of boot camp for the new the made freaks. We were taught to be good little soldiers. The difference between me and the rest of the freaks, I had someone who cared. Roger tried to get me out and in doing so has disappeared. Along with a small band of the other freaks I escaped from the Lab. Not with out stopping by the Weaponry Development Department first. The only bullets I use are made with sapphire tips. Sapphire may not be the hardest substance but, it sure can ease through armor. I know that who ever was backing the Lab has done something with Roger and I will find him.

Brief Personal History:Jimmy was born with the ability to take a beating. And he did, alot. So he also learned to dish it out. He grew to be very tall, so he tried out for basketball in highschool, but he beat up a ref after what Jimmy described "A bullsh*t call!" So needless to say school was not for Jimmy.

He dicided to go into business for himself. Useing his fist as his means of survivle Jimmy cought the notice of certian persons. They Invited Jimmy to help them out with some matters that could use his personal touch.

After a couple years in there gainful emplayment Jimmy gained quite a reputation (and several nicknames) and was finnaly adopted into this "Family" Which was unheard of. But Jimmys skills could not be denied.

Now all was going well for Jimmy Till he made a move on the CoT. Which did not sit well with the mystics. SO they decided to kill all the others and sacrifice Jimmy. WHich they did. But befor they could compleate the ritiual a hero stoped them and Jimmy was sucked back into the world of the living. But he didn't come alone he brought back a darkness with him. "Something wonderful' as the Circle called it. "OMGWTF" was Magi's reaction.

Now Jimmy didn't take kindly to being sacrifised, so he decided to help the hero take the basterds out. And without a record the hero coulfdnt take Jimmy in. So Jimmy left. But he was pissed. He blammed his "Family" for his condition. Asked why he blamed them he says "It was a bullsh*t call".

So blameing his "Family" and on the run from CoT mystics who wanted what was inside of him Jimmy had nowhere to turn but to the heroes. And since he would get to beat people up all the time and get revenge on his "Family" and the CoT it didnt seem like a bad deal.

Brief Personal History:
Victoria Hartwell is the daughter of Norman and Ilene Hartwell. They were both prominent figures in the well to do society in the Hamptons of New York. Her father was an avid collector of antiquities and when she was six, he acquired a rather unique piece in his collection, a white serpent carved from ivory. Mere days after having obtained this item, the Hartwell home was attacked and the house ransacked. While Victoria hid herself in the servant quarters she heard screams as both her parents were murdered among several shouts from their attackers looking for the item. She stayed hidden for hours until finally the home was invaded again, but this time by a single man. He came straight to Victoria’s hiding place after having effortlessly found the item that her parent’s killers had been looking for. He explained that her father had inadvertently purchased a mystic talisman that was also of significant religious value to various cults worldwide. This talisman had been lost for generations and both her father and the man who had unearthed it never knew of its importance to the other religious factions that wanted it.
The stranger explained that the talisman was reputed to give its owner incredible recuperative powers and mastery over their body. Victoria was taken by the stranger to a remote sanctuary in Eastern Europe where the man, along with a group of twelve others raised her. However, caring for her was not their only duty. Victoria was told that their sanctuary was in itself of mystical influence and existed ‘outside’ of the natural word and that while there, the zealots that all seek the talisman would not find her. She was trained by these mysterious thirteen men who not only educated her, but instructed her in the arts of martial combat. During her life there, they never used her last name, claiming that her previous life no longer mattered, and only referred to her as Victoria, and then Lady Victoria when she entered her teens.
On the eve of her twenty-first birthday she was visited by the man who had been her savior years before. He explained to her that it was never their intention to house her indefinitely. She was to be returned to the normal world and that she should seek out a normal life. She did not want to go, but she was not given a choice. Among the sparse belongings she was given was the same talisman that had spun her life into chaos. There was but a simple letter with it that read. “This belongs to you. Regardless of your father having purchased it through monetary means, the Alabaster Serpent has an unseen will, and it would not have come into his possession unless it wished it. After all these years it remained by your side, and even when we attempted to relocate in, it would always be found the next day back in your room. You will find that it has departed onto you its gifts. Use them wisely, and protect it and yourself, for now that it is back in the world, it will be detected by the spells of those who seek it.”
She was also left with a number to a bank account that she had discovered had been set up in her name only days before her birthday and that it held the left behind fortune of her parents. She tried to live a simple life and work her way back into society, but has discovered that her life is constantly under attack by the forces of evil in the city, and she suspects that those seeking the Alabaster Serpent are responsible. Now she finds that she reluctantly leads the life of a hero, keeping the city and its citizen’s safe, all the while trying to find and stop the parties after her and the talisman.

I made Lady Vic a long time ago and got the name Lady Victoria without having to do anything funky, like periods, dashes etc, so I must have made her long before this other Lady V did, so she must not have been a long time player. I have heard of this other Lady V several times, but I have no idea who she is.

Brief Personal History:
Rachael and her brother Jack (5 years older) lived a happy life in the suburbs outside of Paragon City until Jack was 13 and Rachael 8, when their parents, Mary and Davis Lee were killed when the bus they were riding in was caught up in a superpowered battle inside Paragon City. Jack and Rachael, having no other living relatives, were tossed into the local orphanage for 3 years until they were finally adopted at by a Mr Henry Jackman and his wife Louis. After the death of their birthparents, Jack was practically like a father to his sister, and was very protective of her. In fact, it was Rachael that insisted that Jack also be adopted, as the Jackman's originally only wanted to adobt Rachael. Six years later, Henry and Louis were killed during the initial Rikti invasion. Jack, by then being an adult, was given temporary custody of Rachael. Jack, unable to get a good enough job to pay for the both of them, took off for Paragon City looking for work. He left Rachael behind because of a fear of her getting caught in a similair circustance to that of their parents death. Shortly before Rachael's high school graduation, Rachael stopped recieving contact from her brother. Terribly worried that something tragic had happened to him, Rachael began training in crime fighting skills. She attended many classes on detective skills and the like. Being a good archer, she trained her skills in the bow and arrow to near perfection, and developed a series of trick arrows to aid her in investigating her brother's dissapearance. Looking for an organization that had an excellent intelligence network and far reaching connections, Rachael recieved word that the Silent World Order was looking for more members...
