As far as pure concept, there really shouldn't be a more bad ass high powered hero than Thor. It's sort of a testament to how badly he's been used in the past.

I'm wondering if all of The Fantastic 4 will be in the game, that way you can have a REAL Fantastic 4 game. I heard the one that came out based on the movie was only for one or two players. If it's Fantastic 4 I want to be able to have three friends together playing as ALL of them. Not just one or two.

Hopefully they'll get Iron Man or War Machine in it too. I like playing as the cover in the ledgends games.

The site says that the game will include a total of 140 Marvel characters. That's counting playayable, non-playable, enemies, etc.

But the sight says that you will START with 20, or apparently 22, playable characters and that more will be unlocked during the game. Also, if you pre-order and get a special edition version, it unlocks Silver Surfer.

from the list given, here's my starting line-up:
1.Dr. Strange
2.Iron Man
3.Deadpool
4.and probably Thor(needed some muscle)

The Hulk BETTER be unlocked sometime in the game though.

I think the Hulk might be a boss turned playable character. we know that Banner is in it but the Hulk dosent normally play by the rules. As for no Moon Knight but yes too Spider-woman, thats cause of Brian Bendis bringing back Spider-Woman as a big time major character, reinvigorating her, while Moon knight has just got his own series, Spiderwoman has been in the spotlight for a few years now

Actually it's not the Ultimate Universe. It's a sort of game mix thing. You can change the costumes to either of the universes etc.

Flipping through the screenshots and noticed something that made me very happy. In the previous Xmen Legends games, you couldnt use powers while Flying. I see a screenshot of Both Iron Man and Human Torch firing from the air. That makes me very very happy.

In Ultimate Alliance, you'll name your team and choose a team icon. Who you select is important, because the longer these four characters fight together, the higher your teamwork bonuses. Though you can freely swap in other characters, the more you play with one team, the more efficient your characters become at stomping baddies.

I'm guessing my concept team of Night Thrasher, Bengal, Silhouette and Cypher won't be workable, or even advisable for that matter.

Rock. On. That article makes me happy in my geek-places. If they are going to do equipment like that, they better make sure that, unlike Xmen Legends 1 and 2, worn equipment doesnt count against your storage total. I cant tell you how infuriating it is to see that you have no room left to pick up gear and you go to thin out your collection and every peice of equipment you're carrying is being worn by someone.
