A French term meaning "match" that refers to foods cut into very narrow strips and having a matchstick-like appearance. An alumette cut is most often considered to be 1/8 inch square and approximately 1 to 2 inches in length. Similar to a bātonnet, which is a narrow cut 1/4 square or a julienne that is 1/16 inch square, the alumette cut is a size between the two.

Now if Alumette is enticing I'm sure somewhere outthere she's got a sexy teen sidekick named Julienne... :naughty:

Sorry to disappoint, but at this point there is no one but Alumette.

Still, the comic value of a sidekick named Julienne has merit. ;)

I'm quite certain that one Alumette is more than enough for anyone to handle anyway.
