I was just surfing and I found this article randomly. It's an old article for an exhibit that has long since past, but the stories about the photographer and his experiences in Tibet are quite powerful.

I can't imagine how people are able to forgive another culture for the level of oppression that the Chinese have imposed on Tibet. But according to this photographer's experience, they have. Incredible.

That wacky PRC. Here's hoping Hu Jintao can make good on the progress plans they've been implementing. The big test will be to see whether or not they can close the gap between the city dwellers and the farmers in the West.
