Energy Blast

Power Bolt, Power Blast - Your two bread and butter attacks, with build up they will two shot a white con minion. I would say for optimal usage slot them two ACC for PvP and PvE usage. Three damage for maximum damage output and one recharge to ensure you always have them at your disposal
Energy Torrent - You will notice I took this later then the others, this is not because of late of usefull or quality. This is a GREAT power, however better left until you have spent the slots and pool powers (stamina) to have a great single target game before you begin to AoE. It has a 30-40% chance of knockback that works wonders as crowd control and to send a whole spawn on their feet and buy the team some extra moments. I would slot it the same as your two basic single target blasts
Power Burst - This power does more damage then anything else in your pirmary except for Nova and Sniper Blast, it is quicker then both however and will one shot a even con minion with build up. Slot it the same as your other blasts and use it like a melee.
Sniper Blast - One of the great things about Energy is you get access to your snipe a lot eariler able to one shot from a tremendous distance this power will frequently be the first one you open with in solo and team play. Slotting is slightly different, Snipe has a natural 20% accuracy bonus so you can forgo the two ACC enhancements and just go with one, three damage and two interupt reducers... those are important. What these will do is allow you to get off a snipe even in the middle of heated combat and PvP situations. As your single highest damage regular attack you don't want to waste the time to start it and then have it fail.
Aim - Build up and aim define a blaster, they allow you TREMENDOUS burst damage and the ability to hit even people hiding in PFF with ease, get into the habit of using both Aim and Build up as often as possible with every attack, Six slot this one three recharge and three to hit to ensure you don't miss those shots. Your survival depends on your abilty to wipe things out in one to two shots.
Power Push - The much maligned control power, I however LOVE it, when combined with power thrust you can enough knockback to chain knockback a boss. Also a benifit is that is has a 20% natural accuracy enhancement to it. Say you want to solo a freak tank, open up with power push then rush in and hit him once, he will start to get back up then use power thrust rush over and attack again then power push. Repeat this and you can kill even most elite bosses that can be knocked back without them evening throwing a single punch.
Explosive Blast - A waste of time and endurence in my opinion, at a cost of 15 end and poor damage it will also knock away foes in a circle rather then one direction scattering them and making killing them fast more difficult. Skip this one and don't worry about what your missing, because your not missing anything.
Nova - Think of nova as more like a skip a turn card much more usfull in teams then solo using it will take you out of the fight for about 1 min BUT, when used correctly you can destroy and entire spawn in one shot and let the team move on rather then having to fight them. Slotting for this is different first of all skip any accuracy as for one it has a natural 30% accuracy bonus, second the only time this power is worth using in when you use build up and aim with it which both provide enough to hit six slotted that missing will not be an issue, slot for three damage and one recharge so its up often and when you can use it it will make those long TFs a lot faster.

Energy Manipulation

Power Thrust - You have no choice in the matter of taking this power, luckily it will be great fun and usefull even up to 50. If it hits and it can be knocked back it will knock it back. Usefull for buying a split second to fire off snipe or something else. Even better when used with Power Push as then you can chain knockback something till the end of time. Minimal damage but its crowd control but not a killer. Slot it with two accuracy to get the most out of it. Also worth nothing that as Energy has longish animation times in both sets that Power Thrust and Energy Torrent, Energy Punch and Power Push are the three fastest attacks so if you need to quickly hit a stalker to stop AS or break hide these are the ones to go with.
Energy Punch - If you want to be a blapper take it, lightning fast activation for great damage is nice. However in the long run unless you are focused on blapping skip this for Bonesmasher which is the 600 pound gorilla compared to Energy Punch.
Build Up - Slot this the same as Aim, Three recharge rate and three to hit buffs. This provides for a short amount of time a 100% percent damage increase which is enough to start one shotting and two shotting everything in existence. Use it often and you will really get the wows with how fast you can mow things over.
Bonesmasher - What can I say, GREAT damage for a great animation time currently it has a 25% chance of knocking off one toggle on a target so don't depend on that part. The good news is that it will cause snipe level damage a LOT faster then snipe. I woul slot this two accuracy and three damage with the last slot for and endurance reducer rather then recharge to balance out your end use as the speed with this power is used breaks one of the hallmarks of Energy its relitively longish animations mean that while the Ice/Ice guys are chokeing for end we are still running good for a fight.
Conserve Power - Now this is an interesting power, with this build you should do fine in all but the longest fights blasterwise. What this does is for two minutes takes away 50% of your endurence cost on all powers. Three slot this for recharge rates and pop this on those times you really can't afford to wait for more endurence and continue on and amaze your team when you can just march on while they are still panting.
Stun - Origninally I had this power, thats for a reason its GREAT. You can stun a LT. with it and for a second reason early on slots are tight so take this instead of bonesmasher and just put one ACC in it and its good to use out of the box. The way I used it was to stun someone and come back to them after all his buddies were done. Also worth nothing this power can be really nasty when used well in PvP in Bloody Bay and Siren's Call. You can stun a squishy long enough when used with Power Boost that its a death sentence. Ask Malignefamily or Jumproot about it, i've killed many a corruptor without taking a single scratch thanks to this one power. In my opinion take this and once you have enough slots respec out of it and into bonesmasher which you can then have fully slotted, then instead of stunning that mob you can just one shot them.
Power Boost - Ohh one of the great points, a self special boost that DOUBLES the distance of all your knockback (great for playing hellion golf), and the time you stun someone. Total Focus used with Power Boost will stun a boss longer then some controllers can manage. Also worth noting it increases your movement speed and certain other powers effectiveness or buffs. Slot this for three recharges and use as needed.
Boost Range - Hands down one of the coolest powers in the game, and unique as well no other AT/Powerset has access to a self +range power. What this is for 30 seconds give you a 75% range increase to all powers, if you teleport you teleport further, your regular attacks all become further then snipes and your snipe becomes a frigging orbital Ion Cannon. This power will become the bane of many people PvP wise once you get the hang of it. It will also make you PvE a LOT easier as you can start to one and two shot spawns further then they can attack back and its a GREAT feeling to outrange a nemesis sniper. The best part is that with three recharge rate enhancements in becomes almost perma you have a 2 second downtime but other then that from this point on every attack you can throw will outrange just about most things. Spend the forth slot on one endurence reducer as constant usage will add up and you need to keep your endurence in balance.
Total Focus - Your crown glory and final power, Except for nova no other power availible to you causes as much damage. In addition this power will always stun up to a LT. and 80% of the time will stun a boss in one hit as well. When used with power boost this will put someone out of comission for a VERY long time. One of my favorite tricks is hiting powerboost and build up and using it on a flying squishy, this will stun them and drop them from the air as soon as it hits use snipe and with your boost range you will two shot any squishy class. Also worth noting that the animation time on both this and snipe are so long they in effect bypass travel power suppression as once they are done you can immediatly move at full speed afterwards. Slot this two accuracy, three damage and one endurence reducer as this can be an END monster.

Power Pools

I won't go into details here but I will touch base, you will notice I have taken leadership. This is many for PvP Assault provides resistence against Taunt and Placate which is invaluable and in PvE its damage boost adds up on large teams. Tactics provides a small to hit bonus but its main advantage is that it provides +perception which is required to see stalkers. Two people using tactics = stalker hunting time. However Vengeance is a godsend and an AWESOME power. Fully slotted with defense SO's what this will do is give you 39-40% defense. For comparison a stalker not using his tier 9 shield will only have around 31% defense, add this to the fact that Vegeneance is a TEAMWIDE buff what you do is turn the rest of the suriving team into godmode. So next time you lose the empath throw this down and avert disaster, also very usefull in PvP.
Stamina is required if you even want to think about blasting in a PvP zone or arena and damn near required if you don't want to suck wind every few minutes PvE. You will notice I took and spent slots on Sprint and Swift, this is for PvP purposes in having a higher and suppressionless movement speed. This can be very helpfull in both PvP and PvE situations
