i purchased CoV collectors DVD and expected to have the prestige slide, and i dont.

is there something i dont know about?

If I remember right, The Prestige Power Slide is included in the CoV collectors edition just as it is in the CoH version. Are you sure you don't have it? Maybe it's just not down in your power tray, have you checked your Power list?

i definately have COV collector and COH retail.

Did you input the code to update your account, or add a totally new account? In other words, do all your characters now have the VIP accolade badge, or not?

There is no CoV collectors edition accolade or prestige power. You get access to the arachnos cape, that's it.

EDIT: Well saying "that's it" is kinda wrong :p, you get all the heroclix and all the fun stuff in the box.

The slide was from the CoH Pre-Order boxes I believe.

well, wikipedia says its the collectors DVD. thats not good., im gunna request an edit on that article then.

No no, If you buy the CoH DVD you get the VIP accolade along with the powerslide. CoH only, and it was tough finding that DVD. Blue Bolt and I found them and got 'em. Badges badges!

Yeah the prestige powerslide came in the CoH collectors DVD, the other cool prestige powers came with the pre-order.

I watch both pages, and can't find anything like that.... it's not on the City of Heroes, or the City of Villains page...

I just found the section on the powers page, but it is correct and hasn't been edited in a while...

These Inherent Powers are given to users who either pre-ordered City of Heroes before its initial release or purchased and/or upgraded to the DVD Collector's Edition of City of Heroes. These Prestige Powers also transfer over to Villains if the user has both City of Heroes Pre-order/DVD Edition and City of Villains on an account. There will also be a Prestige Power to go to those who purchase the City of Heroes Roleplaying Game.

there is an ncsoft store that will let you purchase just the extra ingame items from the coh collectors edition. The price is pretty affordable i think and includes a month of service.

That's what I got. It was like "The Hero Pack". Basically the DVD edition without the DVDs, for cheaper.
