http://coh.tritonius.com/bw.gif So this morning I was in the workshop knocking together odd bits and pieces when it occurred to me just how difficult it was to dig through the storage rack and find exactly what I was looking for. Have you ever tried to ferret through scads of junk for that pile of Arcane Foci components, or have you ever looked for the stash of Amulets you need only to find them buried among oodles of high-tech salvage after much confused searching? Hence, this poll.

It's pretty self-explanatory. How many salvage storage units should we have in the workshop, and for what purpose of salvage separation should they be used? Rest assured that we are far from running out of storage space with the one we have.

We'll cap it off at ten votes unless there's a tie or in the event that any votes must be called into question; Yes, spies, I promise that you're not very far from my thoughts. And by all means, discuss below. I'm not a mind-reader, you know.

Oh, wait....

Three storage racks could be pretty cramped in that small workshop, but otherwise it could be a sound proposal...aside from your magiphobic reasonings, perhaps. Of course, we would expect you and the rest of the Wonderlanders to contribute a suitable amount of time and effort ((and Prestige)) to help us cover the costs of a third rack. Does anyone second this?

So...tell us about this "Bettty".

My Hawg. (((the excuse i have for Kothor taking superspeed as a movement power is that he has the CoH equivalent to a Honda Viking/Harley Thundergod)) can't we just get a bigger workroom? (((i am planning on actually playing more often now that i7 is out... since said buddy is working days again during the summer i may be able to get a recruit for MiW...

((A bigger workshop would require at least 300,000 more Prestige, and that's if we reduce or eliminate the sewer maze (or throw out the telepad room). To do so without eliminating another room would require us to expand the lot size...which, if we keep plugging at it, might actually be possible within a few months. I was thinking of proposing a Prestige-based promotion system as an incentive for our members to gather Prestige; We don't have a lot of those members who have been inactive for a month or three or who have zero Prestige despite being onboard for several months, but my proposed system might eliminate what few we have.))

I believe it would probably be best to keep salvage in one bin, components in another, and never the twain shall meet except in people's posession. Just makes things nice and tidy.

((A GM finally got back with me (via email) about the storage petition I sent in last night. Sure enough, all storage items have been disabled until the devs figure out how to stop those friggin' munchkins from using them to duplicate l33t warez or whatever the hell those code-exploiters do to break the game at every turn. Thanks again for ruining the game for the rest of us, you cheating, code-raping ass pirates.... :grr:

In the meantime--seeing as we don't know how long the devs will take to do this--I suppose we should go back to the previous model, with Kryogentic handling all of the Tech salvage and Bloodywedd handling all of the Arcane salvage, just until we get our salvage racks back. All in favor?))

By the way, I'd like to belatedly announce that we have the bigger, better workshop now. Check it out. :D

I voted to keep Tech and Arcane salvage separate because...oh...6 months too late.
