do we have to keep one specific banner up? i just got my new comp so i never really got a chance to make a banner. was kinda hoping i could make a few for later consideration... can't we rotate new banners ever other week or month?

People have been working hard on this banner, it wouldn't be fair to take it down after a few days. I have been considering making it random (by some script or so), but I have no idea how that would work. And until I find out how to make different schemes, I'm sorry I won't be able to offer any more.

we could make 2 forum styles, 1 with the new logo and 1 with the old so people can have a choice

That's sort of what I suggested. I think if we had a "mega" style and the "old-school/blueguy-yellowguy" style, that'd be great.
