If you have something that's somewhat important, or is a worthwhile post that isn't spam, post it in the Asylum. :P

I'm all for condensing them. It has always stuck me as a bit odd that we have both the Asylum and Paragon's Party Place when they both serve almost the same purpose.

Actually, it's because the spam forum used to be different in the way that you didn't get influence points for posting there. Now that influence is gone altogether, the incentive to keep the important threads from the less important ones is much weaker I guess. It's all just off-topic.

I agree - they should be combined.

Personally, I can't tell the difference between a "nut house, where people talk about all sorts of non-CoH related stuff" and a spam forum. I mean, the "Da Vinci Code" and Eurovision both fall into the same kind of category of banter imo.

And is Threshold's finishing high school / college really less spammy than the San Diego Comic Con? Not to my mind.

No. We do not need threads about off topic things like movies, sports, news, etc. mixed with spam threads like "The Last One to Post in Here Wins!" and other things that serve no purpose other than having fun.
