I'm glad this stupid Chuck Norris fad is starting to die down.

It's only dying down because everyone finally realized that Chuck Norris' greatness speaks for itself. :P

Never was funny, still isn't.

I thought it was funny to begin with. Then I realized it could be applied to just about any obscure C-list celebrity and still be funny. Then I found out what an insane Christian fundamentalist he is. Nothing funny about that.

Seems to've been some kind of "CN Storm" or virus, since it went around WoW, too...But there I could understand it....because, you know...it sucks.

Starting in May of 2006, there will be four sizes of popcorn at AMC movie theaters: "Small", "Medium", "Large", and "Chuck Norris' Balls".

Just another reason for me to quit going to the mall of america to see a movie...that and paying $17.00 for the gf and I to see V for Vendetta....which sucked (the price and the film).

What's odd is that it started out as a Vin Diesel meme. Gotta wonder how it jumped to Chuckie.

Because Vin Diesel is a douche bag, coldcut.

The way it got to Chuck was he put a poll up on the site asking what other celebs would work better. Chuck wasn't one of the options but tons of people wrote in asking if he'd make a Chuck Norris version and he went ahead and did it.
I read all about it in my local paper because the guy who started the site was from Long Island. It was a pretty funny interview. I forgot the number of hits the Vin Diesel site was getting compaired to Chuck but it was a whole bunch.

Because, you know, being contrary for the sake of being contrary is just so cool. Um, isn't that, um, right, um, Meltman? >:]

The new fad is Geordi Laforge. He is one badass mofo!
I mean would YOU mess with him?!

Isn't that Lavar Burton?
How is not liking Chuck Norris jokes, and liking V for Vendetta contrary?

Because I feel like farking with you, that's how. :p
Well, that and your opinion's a pretty small minority, it seems....
Oh, wait. Most people liked V for Vendetta. Disregard the second part.
I wonder if Hugo Weaving could beat Chuck Norris' ass....

Course he would. Agent Smith speed + V intelligence.
The Widowed

Agent Smith. :p
Wasn't Agent Smith also supposed to be strong enough to punch through concrete and tough enough to leave a ten-foot-deep impact crater and get right back to his feet? I kind of doubt that Mr. Weaving could match his character's traits. :P

I'm sure it stemmed partly from Chuck Norris's cameo in Dodgeball.

The Widowed

No, Agent Smith was Hugo Weaving and a good chunk of really cool special effects. :D

The Vin Diesel version achieved moderate success, but it was nothing compared to the Chuck Norris version. I believe there was also a less successful Mr. T version at some point too, although I'm unsure if that came before or after.
But I digress... on to the new fad.
After rerouting the plasma injectors through the deuterium purge vent and increasing warp engine efficiency by 1.178% in under 3 hours, Geordi LaForge smoothtalked his way into the bedroom quarters of both Tasha Yar and Dr. Leah Brahms, on the same stardate!
