Well this years E3 impressed me more in one day than last years E3 in the entire week. Lots of good videos out there. PS3.....kinda expensive O_o . Halo 3 mmmm.....tasty. Gears of War and Mass Effect two more tasty treats. MGS 4 also suprised me...because a certain character from the second game has decided to make an apperance. Ah so much eye candy.

I'm with you, I spent day one for three hours watching G4's coverage, missed yesterday for an end of the school year event, but caught two hours today and I have to say it's greatness, and the Wii is actually making me want it, more then the Gamecube ever could, and I mean I just love it's still going to be cheap-ness. Also, I feel the PS3 is to powerful for it's own good and to have it's full potential it will cause game developers a lot of extra labor and thus more expensive games giving 360 a bigger edge.

I think PS3 was designed more for the long haul. Like they said, they plan to support it for the next 10 years, and by then it might not be so hard to make nicer looking games.

True that also means I can wait longer to buy so I dont have to sell an organ to afford it.

I think the ten year plan is a stupid idea. Even from a profits perspective...

I'll bet, no guaranty, that they'll have a new one in 5-6 years. And atleast there's one bonus for me concerning the PS3, the dollar's low, so it might not cost me more than the PS2 did. But I'll probably getting the Revolution too. (I refuse to call it by that innuendo soaked new Name That Shall Not Be Written.)

Yeah I really cant see the PS3 lasting 10 years as they say. I mean most of what Iv seen hasnt been much better if not the same as what the 360 can do. I guess it has more potential that will rear its head as developers learn the architecture. But whatever, with my 360 and Halo 3, Im happy as a clam.

Wii is looking pretty sweet, and is supposed to be the cheapest again like the Gamecube was. Not to mention, Microsoft even backs it, they said something to the extent of "Don't buy a PS3 when you can get a 360 and a Wii", not to mention the games look fun and the control looks intuitive.

And Microsoft can be trusted in all matters of consoles, especially when they're developing one of them.

Fixed that for ya :tarby:

I trust M$ more than Sony when it comes to Consoles. Windows however *shudder*

But Sony has never claimed anything in that matter at all, where Microsoft has. I'll be the first to admit that Sony doesn't exactly grasp the idea of innovation, but they tend to, when they copy off others, to get it atleast right, where as Microsoft has a history of hiring people, taking what they need, and then dumping them on the spot.

So both companies steal IP in different ways, but Sony's is more acceptable? Hardly. Pot + Kettle = Black.

Regardless, I'm sure each of these mega-corporations with billions of dollars at their disposal appreciate our verbal support :-).

I have yet to claim it's more acceptable, I'm just saying that putting your blind faith in Microsoft is as stupid as trusting Sony in the same matter.

We definitely agree on that point.
