((This is a closed RP for me and whoever may play Eva. Until then, I'm going solo. If you think you may want to roleplay Eva, send me a Pm. Otherwise, refrain from posting anything in this thread. Thanks, and I hope you enjoy the read!))

Dear Diary,
Here I sit, at the top of our hill, by our water tower, thinking to myself.... how in the world did I end up here! Of all the places my parents could've lived, why here!
My name is Sandy, and I live on a farm in Salamanca, Rhode Island. Population: Declining. There's nothing to do here besides hanging out at the Tom's Coffee Shop and chores. Annd then there's running from the occassional Ghost, Witch, Sidhe, and Redcap. But I prefer not to think of that as something to do for entertainment.
Luckily, I have Eva. She's my best friend(though she may say otherwise if you ask her.) Heck, she's the reason I'm starting a Diary again. I really wanted a Livejournal like she has, but for that, I need a computer. But Pops won't buy me one, so it's back to the old fashioned way: Pen and paper.
All the other kids act like they are above me because my father is a farmer. Not Eva! Even though she's rich, she's still an outsider. She is what everybody called an "Emo" whatever that is. It could mean Emo-tional, but I never saw Eva exhibit any other emotion besides sadistic sarcasm... if that's an emotion.
Anyways, Eva was the first real friend I've had in a long time, and that's not including Sally, the lake creature. Eva even let me come to her parents' condo over on Main Street! I never knew something so expensive could exist here in Salamanca! Not only that, but they let me eat dinner with them!
My mom says that Eva is the best thing that could've happened to me. And I agree! Unfortunately, things can't always be that way. Eva told me last Monday that she was going to have to move to Paragon; Her father found a better place in the city, and she has to leave me behind. I'm sad... I don't think Eva really cares. As she said "It's only a 60-Minute tram ride away, punk." Which would be cool if Pops would let me go, but he would never let me step one foot outside of Salamanca. All I know about the city is from what I see on the news.
Whenever I ask him about letting me go to Paragon, he gets all evasive, saying that I'm not ready for the city. He always says "The City?! It's too dangerous for a girl like you! You could get lost! Or get abducted by one of those Vahzilok ceatures! Is that what you want? To grow up with your head on one zombie, and your body on another?!" And that's usually when I remind him that Salamanca is not exactly the most ideal place in the world. Then he retorts with "You don't have reasonable transportation there, because I'm not driving you! Plus, you don't know anyone there. Maybe when you're more responsible, ok hon?"
Well, I've developed a plan! It's full-proof; I've showed that I can be more responsible; Not only have I maintained a 3.67 GPA, but I've undertaken more chores around the farm! Plus, I saved up enough money for a ticket from the newly built tram, providing me with safe transportation from Salamanca to Paragon. And with Eva living in Paragon, I'll have a place to stay.
Eva says I'm madder than The Clock Work King. Now, I don't know who he is, but if he's the King, then he must be very innovative, like myself. I think what Eva was trying to say, in her usualy sarcastic manner, was that she doesn't think I care about her leaving. And that's just not true. I'm really going to miss her! But I really must take advantage of the opportunity her departure brings me.
As Mom always said "Everything happens for a reason!" How right you are, Mom! How right you are!
