I'm looking for a site where roleplaying is an active thing. Anyone here know of any?

None that I have heard of, bud. But I'll ask around, since I'm pretty interested in some good ol' forum RP myself.

I wouldn't mind getting something going here, but it seems that most guru roleplaying must occur on team websites or something. The forum RPs with random people are in rare supply.

The other down side is that the dammned CoH forums are blocked for me because I don't have an active account. That makes me mad because I'm not going to pay 15$-16$ just to use their forums since I don't play the game anymore.

*shrugs*

There are some great storylines happening right now on these boards, though they aren't open RP's like you would remember.

You're the idea man though, I'm sure if you started something up, others who feel the same way wouldn't be that far behind. ;)

I might have been inclined to start something on my own, but everything I ever participated in forum-wise in CoH was never finished. I think my total of RP's is somewhere in the 30s. After so many unfinished stories things tend to leave you hanging in limbo somewhere.

Well I've said the one Nyx and I are working on is open. I'm just waiting on her to respond. You take an existing character and figure out how to fit it in to the time period.

I have yet to ever really fit any of my characters into an RP over here either except for SK's Softball game last summer but that died before the game could begin. Most of the others I've seen here are closed to people just jumping in like we use to have on the old pre-beta forums. Of course what I think helped back then was they kept an OOC forum and an RP forum separate so people could actually find the information they needed to jump into RP's.

I appreciate the offer Gaia, but a victorian setting just doesn't intrigue me. I really don't think Noble or Redgate would fit into that era too well.
