Okay, so Im new to the whole comics things, i've only read a few (some dan slotts, avengers, etc...) And i finally read Batman hush Volume 1 and two... I loved it, the storyline was great, and everything felt very Fluid, my favorite part is where catwoman hits ivy and supes asks if that was necessary and bat and cat both look at eachother and say "Yes"... I mean, this being my first batman arc i've ever read, It just really gave me alot more respect for the detective. From the whole plot with the childhoold friend, to the different villains, and everything was just plum awsome... What was everyone Elses oppinions on the GREATEST BATMAN arc ever?

Not to mention the art is phenominal and detailed. (also translated into really cool action figures!)

This sounds pretty cool. Anyone know if they plan on releasing the whole arc in a TPB?

I agree with Tark, Hush is just awesome. From the writing all the way down to the art. Fantastic job, it's a shame that awesome arcs like this only come around every few years, at least for the Batman titles.

I liked Hush, but after reading it a couple of times, I do have some minor complaints about it. Still it was pretty great.

And DC is milking the two TPBs as much as they can, but I think they're releasing a hardcover sometime soon.

Hush was awesome, but Knightfall was better, as was DKR, as was alot of No Man's Land. It comes in about 4th or 5th in Batman arcs, for me.

The bit with Krypto was crappy. The greatest detective on earth does not need help from Superman's mutt. Bah.

Hush is awesome, but I agree that the Knightfall series beats it just barely. Still, it's definately one of the best comic arcs (that i've read) put out for quite some time.

And was I the only one that wasn't that impressed with DKR? Meh...

It works great as an introduction to Batman and his supporting cast, and the art is equisite. Beyond that, it's somewhat shallow.

Liked Death in the Family better, nothing like seeing a sidekick getting his skull caved in with a crowbar.

For me it was all about the revelation of Bruce's identity to Selina...

50 freakin' years and he's known her identity for that whole time and she NEVER put 2 and 2 together, jeez. Them writers be slow, Kyle's a whoooooooooole lot smarter than that. :shinner:

Of course, that tidbit's such common knowledge that there's really no need to black it out anymore.... :D
