Gold Rush

So as to not drive off too many folks, I will try to keep this short, or break it into sorta short nice to read chunks of posts. :P
So, to start with, some of you may remember (but I doubt it, since it was one post a few months back) that I had a friend getting on World of Warcraft, so to help him out, I figured I would try to be a bit more active there. Now, while I do like WoW, I still prefer CoH for some reason, however, at the time, I was getting a bit bored and when I get that way, I try to leave for a time and then return with batteries recharged. It is the same practice I use with songs that are overplayed on the radio that I like; I tend to turn them off/change channels so I don't get bored.
(As an aside, I still seem to have computer problems with playing WoW and I have discovered many people have these same problems; not just me. It is a downer that these problems are still not corrected after many months of release. It kinda saps my energy to keep playing WoW. Basically, an hour into game play, my computer slows to a crawl/freezes. There may be a drain on RAM resources as certain folks play the game. I have to reboot my computer if I am playing in whole screen mode, which I prefer, or just shut the the program in window mode and re-log in. It especially happens near cities, where more folks congregate).
So, less and less, I've been hitting WoW, even with the good intent of helping a friend. As usual in such a game, I find it hard to find an RP group, so that's another drain.
Meanwhile, back at my "stately Wayne Manor", I finally gave up my chicken.
Ah, but I did not tell you about that young readers. I shall enlighten you to that and more of my adventures below.
Gold Rush
(At least I feel I am rushing through life, which is good)
