Well, I was talking with Kinetix last night, about my new character. I knew I wanted a scrapper, and came up with Neurox, Since I had some good Ideas for a story. I knew I'd want to be doing some herding, and I hear this is a good setup.

Any of ya got one of these bad boys?
Wondering what powers to get, avoid, slot, etc. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Level [1] Lunge /dmg
Level [1] Resist Damage /three open slots (dmgRES)
Level [2] Temp Invulnerability /three open slots(dmgRES)
Level [4] Spine Burst /dmg dmg dmg

Am I headed in the right direction? What else do I need?

this is info I got on a pm on the other boards ,what do you guys think

Some basics for spines and inv:

Slot AoEs/cones heavily. Don't worry too much about single target attacks, and don't slot up quills (it actually makes it harder to herd if you've slotted up quills too much)

Build Up is great, but you can and should put it off for later in order to get more survivability earlier on.

Barb Swipe is not worth your time, neither is Taunt. If you're willing to respec later, or if you''re not shy about being a bit weaker at low levels to be a god at high levels, don't bother slotting lunge.

Around L26/32, you'll end up picking up both Ripper and Throw Spines. Slot Ripper first.

By the lategame, you'll want the following attacks decently slotted:
Spine Burst
Ripper
Throw Spines (this can wait)
Impale
(Lunge)
Unslotted Quills (I recommend getting it at 30... you won't need it prior to that)

As for invulnerability:

You'll want to take RPD (innate), TI, Dull Pain, Unyielding, Resist Energies, Resist Elements, and Invincibility. Tough Hide is something of a throwaway pick, and unstoppable isn't that great either.

Slot RPD with 1 +3 dmgresist and call it good.
Slot TI with 1 +2 or better dmgresist and call it good. Toss an extra endurance reducer in here too, if you've got a slot to spare.
Slot Unyielding with 6 +2 or better damage resists.
Slot Resist Elements/Energies with as many damage resists as you can comfortably fit. 3 is good, 6 is great. You won't ever hit the caps on these without putting HOs in unyielding, so don't worry about overslotting elemental/energy resistances.
Give Dull Pain 4 recharges and 2 heals. This power is god, don't neglect it (I'd start slotting it by the mid 30s).
Invincibility deserves 6 slots. Personally, I'd say 4 defense, 1 tohit, and 1 endrdx.

Of course, all of this advice assumes perma-hasten and stamina. You only really need 2 pools to make this work, so toss in whatever else you want for the other 2 pools. Slot defenses heavily, slot offenses when you don't have many defenses to slot.
