That's what you get for living in an arctic wasteland. Come to Florida... we only have the occasional hurricane. :D

I'll take Sunny Southern California, myself. No hurricanes or snow. Sure, we get rain, but that's only a few months out of the year, and only a few days during the month.
But, MR, Earthquakes! you say.
Yeah, so? It's been so long since the last Earthquake that I could actually feel, that I don't even remember when it was. Earthquakes? Big deal.

Pffft.... you neglected to mention those hideous mudslides when it rains.
You also neglected to mention those oh, so lovely wildfires when it does not rain.
And the smog! :D

<3 California.
Where else can you go surfing and snowboarding in the same day if you wanted to?
Smog does suck sometimes, the traffic is awful mostly and our gas prices are atrocious.

It snowed here too. Hail followed shortly afterwards. Nature is pissed. Angry and first testament-like. I can feel the ferocity behind the cool demeanour of the Green. The weather is compensating for Global Warming. We're doomed. Doomed as cabages. Something evil lurks in the hearts of vegetables and fruits everywhere. They're planning. I can hear them. Beware the vegetables.

Snow?
What's that?
Oh wait... I think I saw a picture of snow once... looks kinda like the beach all white and all, but no surf. Must suck, huh?

Oh, I'm sure you will fit in here quite well, Lady. :chuckle:

To this day, I have never heard of snow lighting something on fire. Can't say the same for sweltering heat.

Too this day, I have never heard of temperatures in the mid 80's causing 2 feet of FROZEN WATER to accumulate on the driveways and sidewalks. :P

I've never heard of someone getting smellier because they were two (:P) cold.
And it doesn't always snow when it's cold, but it's always way too ****ing hot when it's hot.

I have a great example of New England weather! Yesterday I left my office to grab a paper at the store next door. It was raining outside. I was in the store for just 2-3 minutes and when I came out it was snowing.

I think to think of rain as 'snow that's in a hurry'.

In colorado we used to say "if you don't like the weather, wait a minute" it's the only place I know of where it could be snowing in the morning and 70 degreees in the afternoon

Here in Tampa, if you don't like the weather in the front yard, look in the backyard. I've seen it raining on one side of the house and sunny on the other. Heck, I was driving and the backwindshield was getting rained on but the front was dry and sunny.
