(You don't have to be a MiW member to throw out your vote; I just thought the MiW forum would be the most appropriate place for this poll.)

So Bloodywedd just reached level 20 and, after a visit to the Facemaker, she has come to a moment of indecision.

She needs something to wear for more refined gatherings, from dinner dates to evenings at the nightclub to pact negotiations with other crimelords. Even important conferences with the superheroes can benefit from a more elegant mode of dress. And with at least two of her personalities given towards formal or civilized dealings with others, I naturally designed one outfit for each. So which does she choose: The suit or the cocktail dress?

The somewhat masculine design of the suit was assembled with a leader of Bloodywedd's demeanor in mind. It sports a number of concealing fabrics and crisp edges to convey a sense of formality, sternness and mastery, yet the garish colors, the archaic top hat, the round eyeglasses, the open vest of somewhat comical design and other minor details firmly suggest that the criminal mind inside the suit is still a few blocks short of a pyramid. Imagine an executive power suit designed by the Mad Hatter, and you start to see what appearance I was aiming for.

This mod style cocktail dress is the more feminine design of the two. It is less formal and more vampish and revealing, with the belly slits, the hip slits, the bare shoulders and back and the open-toed high-heeled shoes suggesting someone who's more of a temptress or a belle than a director. The long white gloves (contrasting to the garment's comparitive nudity) may deceptively suggest someone who is prissy, delicate and afraid to get her hands dirty, beguiling others into believing that she is harmless or that they have the upper hand.

There may be other aspects of each outfit's appearance that I've failed to note; Feel free to point them out openly. I'll be checking the polls Tuesday morning and basing my decision accordingly.

Thank you for helping me ease pass another impasse. Ta ta! :D

Huzzah! First vote! I like them both, but selected the suit merely because the dress is similar to what Bloody already wears. Unless you're trying to keep the straps as a theme. Plus only the cool villains wear the top hat. :)

Going with Festive, Bloodywedd doesn't look right in the suit...

I would say the formal. I always lean that way.

But maybe Burb's has a point. Something does seem to be missing from the suit look. Maybe a mix of the two would be interesting? She is a split personality afterall. What if you replace the pants with a skirt?

Same here. It just seems wrong to see her in the suit.

LOL...that would rock. :naughty:

I imagine you'd end up with this:

Hear, hear. It's amazing that the simple monocle eluded the City of Villains team. Isn't that one of the items that the Penguin is known to wear? :)

awww but why a suit? its so formal and strict :(dress looks good, you need a party outfit so I can have a reason to use kryo's and we can bring all of MiW to pocket D and spread the joy :D

but her regular outfit would definitely turn heads in a club. :)

Especially on the dance floor.

Heck, one of my drones, Jimbob, has an unhealthy fascination with her.

You just want to see Bloody show some leg, that's all. So does Jimbob, but that's just Jimbob being disturbing. :D

Anyway, the people have spoken. I'm still torn between the suit with glasses and the suit without glasses (since both look good in their own ways), but it'll be a suit either way. I guess I can take advantage of the free costume change and add the glasses, then take them away for a pittance if I decide she looks better without them.

But that can wait. For now, I'm taking a short nap. Toodles! :)
