How can I take a picture of my character at the selection screen, or in the Create screen?

This is what I do:

1) Run the graphics editor program of your choice...in my case, Paint Shop Pro 8. Wait for it to load and leave it there; Minimize it if you want to access the desktop for Step 2.
2) Run City of Heroes. Log in and do your thing.
3) When you reach the point where you want to take a screenshot, press the Print Screen key as usual. Since you're not in-game, it won't save a screenshot to your City of Heroes/Screenshots folder. But it will still save a copy of the screen to the clipboard.
4) Alt+Tab out of CoH and restore or maximize the graphics editor.
5) Paste the clipboard selection into a new image. The quick-key command for this is usually Ctrl+V.
6) [Optional] Save the image in case your computer crashes. If your editor can only handle one image selection at a time (like, say, MS Paint), you pretty much need to save the image, or else you'll lose it to oblivion when you paste the next screen copy into the editor.
7) You're done! Return to CoH and repeat the process for another screenshot. Note that this is also the easy way to take in-game screenshots with the user interface and any speech text visible in the picture. Also note that the clipboard will only hold one screenshot at a time; If you press Print Screen twice and you don't save the first screenie to the editor before snapping the second screenie, the first one will be lost. So don't forget to save each copy after you snap it, if you can.
