This is a logo for something that looks like it translates to "The Institute for Oriental Studies." It took me awhile to realize just what it was actually supposed to be.

I don't think that windows would help this puppy. I'd suggest offsetting the 'rising' red sun to the right so that the pagoda just overlaps the left side.

...and coldcut, you have entirely too much time on your hands! :P

Is it suppose to be a butt? But either way I guess I don't care cause I don't believe it's super funny...then again maybe i'm a stick in the mud..cause my day was long.

Well it's supposed to be an oriental style tiled roof with the sweeping gables set against a red Japanese sun. But it looks like an unfortunate act of penetration.

My guess is the designer did that deliberately to take revenge of some sort on the client. Maybe they were paying him/her way below average or something.
