The Little League

Ok so I had an idea. The lowest weight class a hero can belong to spans the level 1-4. I've got a minor case of altitis, and I know a great deal of people here have also. So why not create our own 'mini league' to be hosted one day a week. Where only level 4 characters are used in either a free for all or a big tournament ladder thingie. Not only woudl it be a community building exercise - it'd be damn fun too :)

I've already made a hero for it - Minja Ninja.

This post will be edited to include the 'little league' roster and time of the next event.

Fun idea! Though all my Virtue chars are 6 and above... I have many chars on other servers who are of the proper level. :)

I know Hollis participated in a 8 team brawl on test and it was fun sparring as a lvl 5.

guardian is where all my small folks are at. and is this going to be a case where we make heroes especiually for the event? like..

Such as say, this weekend is Ninja weekend, make your own ninja to compete in the Ninja Games! make it a fresh from outbreak games, that way we can satisfy our altitis and character creation urges as well, and it makes it more of a skill/powersets instead of a who can afford better enhancements.

Ok, I made some neeenja on Guardian: the Ninja Ten, Ninja Impact, and my favorite Shadow Moll. Just come up with a time on Saturday and I'll run them through outbreak and meet ya there!!

sortof, it was a weight class 1-5 match. what i'm pushing for is a "Make an alt to try something new" approach, where you make someone, get them through outbreak, and then head to bak alley breawler in Galaxy City, (9i.e. a level 2 person going in to the arena, like we all meet up in outbreak, clear everyones missions, and then as a group head off to the arena.


to help make up for the whole lvl 2 non uberness, maybe make it a team event? or single duels?

The only problem is, as far as any alts are concerned, I usually get them to about level 6 before I stop. Obviously, that's the level where they can get their first Pool Power, so it's pretty much the first of the "milestones" to me. Occasionally, I would stop at level 4, but I just levelled the last of those guys to 7 last night. So except for a handful that are still in Outbreak, because I just claimed the name, everything I've got is level 6.

Creating a NEW character, though, just for this tourney, now that sounds like a good idea. I'll join in if I can.

allright, tonight roughtly 9:30pm CST on the test server, bring your Robots down to the arena for "Thursday night Tussle!" have your Robot character made and ready to go through outbreak, I'll be sending out a message on Global chat when to get over there, but be sure to go to outbreak, we'll form up teams and go blast our way throught the missions, then all head over to Back alley Brawler and from training with him, straight to the arena.

we'll probably do a few team matches, a few free for alls, and maybe a solo match up or two.

post here if you're interested, all AT's and powersets are welcome!

the only requirement this week is that you make a brand new character, and it has to be a robot!

Well, tonight was the First Thurday Night Tussle! we decided on the Justice Server because of some issues folks were having with getting the test server to like them.

From what I heard everyone involved had a great time, Thanks for joining us Xielos, Kurai Inago, Magna Harrier, Thermyte, and Mr Bubble!

Tonight's Theme was robots, Next week will be Farm related heroes, that means Farmers, Animals, Vegetables, Or Farm Equipment!

actually, level 2, no more and again, we're not doing this for any form of ranking or anything, just fun.

this is not a serious PVP "my build is better than yours" event, this is more for the creativity of the design and the fun of getting together.

I kinda figured that by it being called Little League. :p

I created a Morcalivan7 character testing the new costume designs, jacket and helmet, mind just happened to be part of it. It's most as a controller you run around holding poeple so that they can be lowered in health to a sliver and then you hold those all around that weakened enemy at which point you finish him off. The bigger the crowd the more poeple will be criss crossing their attacks and if you are all controllers it becomes pretty hilarious. With supression you get a back and forth battle happening and with more poeple you get it in criss-crossing format which I'm sure you can imagine. Funniest thing you ever did see.

just to let everyone know, you can always arrange stuff like this here, or in the game. there is a global chat session setup for this called "Thursday Night Tussle" that you can use to setup events and so forth.

Why do poeple keep making more and more global channels? You got your one chat channel(2-3 for dif communities), your alliance channel (2-3 for some SGs, and more for your alts), your hamidon channel, your monster channel, your arena channel, your ambush channel, and whatever 'personal' idea channel you create as well. Yet we're still limited to 5 for some reason. Haven't the devs noticed poeple need many more than that? I'm sure there's many more channel types I missed as well that just compound the problem the devs created. Anyways, back to subject, is the thursday thing for non-guru too? Because if it's just guru why not use the guru channel?
