U.S.S. Uniform

I may have brought it up before, but what do you guys feel about a level 30 U.S.S. group uniform? I have always been fond of uniformity in SGs but I know some do not care for it. A handful of us are approaching 30 and I would like to consider it. To be honest I have no idea what Coyote's 3rd costume would be if we do not do it. I already never wear my second one.

Just something to kick around.

I also suggest that we play around with the character creator in terms of costume designs, and post them here for the others to see.

I'll play around a bit with it, when I get off from work today. :)

And then we can pick a color scheme, I always liked SG colors of either Black and White or White and Grey.

I like Black and White as well. I downloaded that stand alone Character Creator but it was all in symbol language

Oh and just cos this is supposed to be like a JLA style SG, my vote would be for keeping our individuality, but I'll naturally go along with the majority vote on this one. However, one suggestion -- perhaps rather than having one particular uniform, make it more.... x-menish (comics and cartoons, not movies) where there's one particular design on the "uniform" but aside from that they're kind of different looking based on the character...

I guess I have to be the one to vote against a SG uniform. RP wise We were chosen as individuals by Z to perform tasks. Individually he (from what I understand) chose us because we have something different to bring to the table.

I have plans for my third costume for RP purposes. JP will wear this while in caves to filter solar energy to his body. (This is after JP finds out his abilities come from the Sun) WHich is....lvl 30.

But ofcourse I will go with majority.

Im game as long as Dutch can keep his tech look. Colors and such should be doable, but if we go with a specific set, I.E. like you have in the Knights, then Dutch could not do it.

Actually, the Knights only require armor of any kind, tech included. But I can see your point with Dutch.

What I was thinking is, for example only, black top with white stripe. The top can be anything...armor, tights, jacket, whatever.

I do not like the idea of SG uniforms. At all. Which is why I never join groups with them. The idea of having to look the same as everyone else goes against one of the main reasons I play this game over others. I will not go along with the majority on this one, whatever is decided.

I think our costumes should stay individual. Like Veik said we were chosen as individuals and I think certain costumes reflect the character concept, including the color. I know my next costume for AA is already thought out and designed.

I like uniformity and it is the reason we have SG colors and symbols. If the majority does not want SG costumes I will be fine also. Of course, I am not such a premadonna that I will quit if we do not have SG costumes.

But anyway this is why I suggested more of an x-men approach to it where everyone's uniforms are relatively different with a couple similarities, a certain colored stripe somewhere or a specific logo, etc...

Actually that was exactly what I was referring to. Like the CoP has the slash pattern with two colors for SG costume. Some would have armor, some bare chested, some tights but all that one pattern and color.

Also, this is one of four costume slots. Would not be required to wear all the time or even ever. Maybe just particular RP situations. Just more food for thought so you don't starve.

On official Z-man missions we would wear the costume, but for personal agendas that our characters have we would opt for originals. (An idea)

It could, but I would then have to base my suit around the SG instead of the design I had in mind. No offence but it's just going too outside my idea for the character.
