Well, yes. But the Devil is in the Details.
Who, What, Where, When, Why kinda stuff.
For instance, was it just you or anyone else in the car?
Weather looks fine with no turns, so how did you get off the road?
Has everyone been checked yet for possible medical problems ie wiplash?
And thank God it was a tree, you got off semi lucky.
Oh, and definately glad to hear your alright.

Its a tree? I thought it was a fence post. Dude just how fast were you going. My bet animal or something spooked the driver, they overcorrected, and some loose gravel made recovery and impossibilty.
Glad everyone is ok though. I've lost a car to a simular situation. All i can say is it sucks bigtime.

Damn, that looks like something pretty bad happened.
I was in a car accident like 2 years ago, a drunk driver fishtailed and we head on'd...
The drunk driver died, I had some pretty bad bruises and a big cut on my neck, my mom broke a lot of bones..I have some pics of our car somewhere...

Sorry guys... Just didnt feel like doing details. :(
My brother, valley road (turn is out of view, but there is one) why? Hes a dumbass and goes to fast around corners. The car should have not lost traction, but there was a pothole which upset the balance and tossed the rear wheel into mud/gravel and it started to spin and he slammed on the brakes
Wasnt a tree, was a phone pole, the one behind the car, is a live wire, the one that broke (Yeah, he hit 2, the dumbass) was a fence post.
40 miles an hour on a 70 degree turn in a BMW should NEVER mean a loss of traction, that car can easily go 60 around the turn, but my brother, mister "I have been driving for 6 months and read everything on the internet, fear my shuffle steering style" doesnt know how to handle a ****ing car.
Know how that is nibbler, my mom was nearly killed before I was born and my brother was thrown 200 feet out the front window, side impact at 100 miles an hour (he was running from the police on a red), twisted brain stem, hiemoturma, lost half her liver, lung blew up... all next to a trauma center  Lets ****ing face the truth, my family has bad luck with cars. I got in a motorcycle accident cause my riding partner did a skid stop infront of me and ****ing got my FOOT UNDER THE BRAKE so i went head first into a stopped truck at 30 miles an hour, couldnt walk for a couple of days.
Yeah, so much for my dream of a race car driver, be going 150 and the guy behind me loses brakes and uses me to stop.

Bah, didn't mean to goat you into telling us what happened. If you don't want to talk about it, I can certianly understand. After accidents like that, people just look at you differently. And theres a certain amount of animinity both in the real world and interent that most people in general try to maintain.
*contemplates whether he wants to tell his story*
The important thing is that everyone turned out ok. Be sure to get checked out some time, especially if there were any head injuries. And Tark, your brother's a f**king idiot.

wow, glad you made it out safe...I went on vacation a while ago and my friend was trying to show off (I was visiting his house) so he was doing 70 on a 20 road...
he went around a corner and lost his control, then overturned it. We slammed the side of the car into a low fence, and that sprung us into a few flips...ended up upside down...nobody got any serous injuries (luckily), just some scrapes and bruises...
after that, my vacation was cut short, and I haven't heard of my friend since...( oh, and by the way, we were driving his mom's car cuz his was in the shop!)

Tark, glad to hear you're okay. Car accidents are scary as hell, no matter how severe they are.
And I have to say this because lately I've been getting REAL pissy about this subject. This is aimed not at you Tark, but your brother and people like him.
A CAR IS NOT A TOY S**THEAD!

Glad everyone's okay Tark.
I think the "lucky it was a tree" means that it's lucky it wasn't one of the metal ones or the concrete ones.

A telephone pole will spear a car in half before it ends up breaking. They are made of super dense wood and major cause of automotive fatalities. Metal Bends, that Wood Breaks. What I ment was I was glad (when I thought) it was a tree or fence post because those will break before a telephone pole. Hell, I'd take a lamp post before another telephone pole. *shivers*
Honestly, I'm amazed more people don't die more often in car crashes. Just the raw physical forces and energy involved let alone the combination of human stupidity. Scary stuff.

Hmm, great pictures, had to be scary as hell. I'm sure your brother learned something, look at that road. If he's only been driving 6 months that road could fool you. Looks like it was bit wet, that roads not in great shape. Scary stuff. Hopefully its the last time he has to be involved in something like this.
