Proof that girls are evil

Saw this one ages ago :p There is a MAJOR problem with it, due to the fact that whoever game up with the proof never graduated 2nd grade or something.

It clearly says "Girls require time AND money." It says AND, which everyone knows from word problems 101 means addition not multiplication. 2 and 4 is 6, not 8.

Plus there is a proof made by the same person that proves that guys are much eviler then girls, this one is just the most popular problary (spelt wrong) because 80% of the net are guys.

First we state that men need time, money, girl and sex.
Men = Time x Money x Girl x Sex

We all know “time is money.”
Time = Money

Therefore:
Men = Money x Money x Girl x Sex

And we all know to many men:
Girl = Sex

As for men’s proof showing “girls are evil” So
Girl = Evil then,
Evil = Sex

Men = Money x Money x Evil x Evil
Men = Money^2 x Evil^2

And because “money is the root of all evil.”
Men = (sqrt(Evil))^2 x Evil^2
Men = Evil x Evil^2
Men = Evil^3

Men’s proof:
Girl = Evil

Girl’s proof:
Men = Evil^3

So we are forced to conclude men are worse than girls.


Both have math errors, but if you accept the first one you gotta accept the second one :p

EDIT: I forgot :p If you want to you can change the (sqrt(evil))^2) into |evil| since the answer is going to be positive no matter what the original value of evil was. Therefore Girls = Absolute Evil :p

I believe what you mean is, if I have 2 apples and 2 oranges, how many fruits do I have?

Under binary arithmetic, AND is in fact the multiplicative operation:

1 and 1 = 1
1 and 0 = 0
0 and 1 = 0
0 and 0 = 0

The additive operation is OR:

1 or 1 = 1 (0 for XOR, which implies carry of the 1)
1 or 0 = 1
0 or 1 = 1
0 or 0 = 0

Multiplication suggests rates, where as addition suggests set amounts.

Generally I find that I measure my expenditures vis a vis women via dollars/week rather than in lump sums.

Lump sums is alright though. Just, ya know, get yourself checked out afterwards.
