I'm a coach at a rock climbing gym. I belay the climbers, which basically means that I'm the spotter on the ground who holds onto the climber's lifeline, takes away slack as s/he's climbing, arrests the rope if the climber starts falling, and lets them down safely.. I tend to joke that I'm the only thing that keeps them from being a mysterious red stain on the floor. It's a cool job, I learned a lot of knots on the job, including the hangman's noose!

Not yet, but the knots I do know can hold pickup trucks by the bumper over a tank of water.

Edit: I also know how to rappel, Solid Snake style. Next week, I learn how to break people's spines by glaring at them.
