Burbs wanted to do the Synapse TF this weekend, but I'll be out of town this weekend and I know several ppl really can't meet the requirements for it. Also I didn't want it to not be a U.S.S. event only, so I stopped it before it started.

I wanted to give people a chance to catch up, cause this is a laid back team.

I understand your situation Gaia and as soon as I'm on vacation, I'm going to attempt to play with you during the hours you can play.

Reasons why I had Capt. Omni leave the team...(besides a story angle) was to give ppl a chance to explore the Hollows Mission that we have yet to complete..

Give me a break..I am trying to meet you people half way.

Story Time!

First, the short of it : Why don't you plan TFs for an hour each night or week until you complete them? I remembered this when I went on my SECOND Positron TF (so, that means, I got 1 more to go, maybe 2) and the leader suggested we all log-off and meet back the next night. I had forgotten you could log-off that particular character and still be on the TF, although you'd be "forced" to play another character if you still wanted to play CoH after everyone left (not a problem for Gaia).

Now, the problems I see with this, are of course, someone(s) not making it the next night for whatever reason and holding the TF up a night. With the forums, someone could drop a message they can't make it and please wait...or just go on ahead without them.

The other problem, which I unintentionally became a part of, was finding out yet another angle of the "Charon/Meltman-Let's kick the rest off and have the TF for ourselves" method. In my own case, no one was kicked off, but I did log back in an hour before we were all suppossed to meet from the previous night's start and found out someone(s) had been working on the TF ALOT. So, where the progress bar was just below the "n" in Positron's name, it had become almost filled up. I met one guy from the previous night's TF (from the "Centurions" actually) who was on. I didn't ask him if he did all that work (I doubt it), but he and I did make the observation the TF was MUCH easier and faster with just the two of us (as oppossed to 7-8 before). Needless to say, we completed the TF and either he disbanded the team or the game auto-disbanded us. I got the badge, but no one went to speak to Positron afterwards (I think he gives out Single origin enhancements in person). One member did log on as we were wrapping up. Needless to say, I felt guilty, but at least I can say, I spent about 2 hours total on Positron and finally got the badge.

Now, with folks on Guru, I don't see this being as big a problem, but with Pick-up teams...better watch out.

Needless, of Positron, I still have to do Synapse with one (two?) characters, Sister Psyche with one or two...and it gets worse the higher the TFs go. Still, I will eventually get to them.

If your looking for a quick TF, the Katie Hannon one in Croatoa is both my Fav TF in the game, and arguably the best :p. It takes about 2hrs max to do from start to finish and you get to see the Katie's home tileset which is amazingly awesome :p

Well, then, Is the synapse TF for sunday not going to happen then? because if so, i'll be pissed. I called off so many things because i finally found the opportunity to get into a good team, and finally have the time in the day to actually DO a TF.
