View Full Version : Holiday Card Exchange
Okay I like sending holiday cards and receiving them too, the make great decorations. Something about them just seems to connect people. Who wants one? I'm talking actual, in the mail holiday cards. Not virtual electronic ones. If interested pm me an address to get one to you. Also anyone else interested in this please post in this thread :)
Nobody wants a cute holiday card? Made out of genuine paper not virtual electrons. :)

Okay, Okay....
I will bite. Although, I must warn you, I am a procrastinator (as it seems many folks may be, given the response so far on this thread).
I will PM details.

I dunno, I'm kinda paranoid. Are you sure you are not just gonna mail me some pocket lint and a stale piece of gum? (although I think that's what Joe has on his x-mas list) ;)

No, I definitely remember it saying "fresh from the dryer lint."
Its Northwestern dryer lint which means it has a nice pine scent to remind you of the holidays. ;)
Seriously I won't give out any information to anyone. Even if they use the thumbscrews on me and the rack (actually the rack wouldn't be too bad. I could use the extra height to push me over 5 feet ;) )
I'm setting the deadline for the addresses for Wednesday December 14. So I can make it to the post office by friday and get them out in time for Christmas.

Arrrgg! Ran out of stamps! It was either the last of my x-mas cards or two of my bills..... grrr. Soon, I promise! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v610/Tsarmiina/smilies/snowflakesmilie.gif
Its okay Mina I actually have to go down to the post office and get the stamps to put on the cards. Last batch they gave me I felt weird using on my bills and letters (The Madonna and Child, I think by Michelangelo. Its a nice picture and I studied variants of it in art history courses, but it feels odd using it for a stamp)
Yay! Cards went into the mail yesterday! Have a couple left over if anyone wants. Though Monday and Tuesday may be a challenge to get to the post office. We have an ice storm moving in
