I'm sure this has been asked once already but I'm curious to know how many slotts it takes of range to max tp....What is the furthest you can go at max? I was thinking of respecing my main out of 6 slotted Flight SOs cause I know it maxes at 3 flight SOs. If there is a max for tp then I will most likely respec and get some slotts in other things. Thank you :)

I met someone who had six slotted hers with range. She said she went over 600 yards every time. Don't know about the accuracy on that one.

Mine is 6 slotted with range atm and most I go is 300 at a time. I was wondering if there was a max or something like fly, cause I wasted 3 slotts in it :P

I've never heard of a max, several people say they go 300yds when six sloted with range SO's (6 X (+33.3%) = (+200%)). I imagine that you could go beyond that with Hammy O's, but I have no experience with those.

TP is the only travel power that can break the speed cap that is placed on the other powers (forget what the cap is ATM), I imagine with 6 hammy-o's you could go pretty damned far with every port :D.

Thanks guys! I think I know what I'm gonna be doing. I think I'm gonna get rid of fly and 6 slot hover instead and keep my tp and put hamios in em when I get a chance. Those come after my golgis though lol. 11 travel Hamios and 21 more golgis as it stands right now. I'll make it there in time :D

Gonna see if i can break or make 3000 for healing, its gonna be close!!

Guess folks with perma builds are gonna have a use for the free respec and more slots to "waste" now, eh?

Last I heard, the speed cap was 85mph (at least for SS, Fly, and SJ).

That really doesn't seem very fast given Superman was fast enough to change the earth's rotation, Flash must be at least that fast if not faster . . . 85 MPH? I could out-speed a superspeeder with my beat up car??

ROFL not even your car. Hyundai Excel could do it. But I think it's due to coding limitations (like to accommodate folks with older video cards and slower internet connections). I would imagine drawing folks whizzing across your screen constantly (or even occasionally) would cause lots of video or other kinds of lag. Would maybe be FPS-ish?

Ah yes, I could see that. Though it would be great to get from Steel Canyon Yellow To Steel Canyon Green line in 2 seconds instead of 2 minutes. :chuckle:

What if they made a 5th Super Speed power that was like teleport where your chara would take off into a quick run and then appear at some point on the map of your choosing?

yeah...you set a waypoint on the map and start SS. you get to cap and boom...two fire trails are left and you appear at your waypoint on the nearest piece of ground....moving.

Well it would just be a travel power so there would have to be a pool set up and some lame power you had to get just prior to getting the "time-space continuum rip" power, lol

Just did some numbers after 5-slotting with range SOs on test.

From the IP Tram to the Bricks gate, 1.7 miles, did it in 43.9 seconds, equals 139.4 mph.

Now, live, I'd have so much lag from the IP Tram area, you'd tack on a good 30 seconds of stalling, falling, delayed porting, porting to the same area twice due to double clicking since you didn't think the first click took, etc. But otherwise, yeah, can your Hyundai Excel do 140?

I've found since I've upgraded to 1g of ram I'm loving tp a lot more...no more lag outs :D (which was my main concern with the power)
