- His father was a blacksmith and his mother was a supermodel from America.
- When he was 10, his family moved to the United States.
- The family established themselves in New York City.
- Was a standout in football and basketball when he high school.
- Shortly after he graduated from High School, he joined up with the neighborhood Fire Dept.
- He quickly went up the rank to Captain, and had established himself with a sense of *fame* throughtout the years.
- In 1990 he met woman during a vacation in the Carribean named Vanessa Thompson.
- They would eventually marry in 1991.
- Vanessa gave birth to a baby boy that they named Max.
- Their marriage did not last however, Jonas's temper was always an issue and would have frequent arguements with Vanessa. Despite all the threats and everything else he would give her, she still stuck by him, until his accident.
- In 1993, while on duty, Jonas was seriously injured while rescuing a family from their burning home. Both of his arms were severly burned to the bone as he ran through a burning wall, while trying to get the family out.
- Jonas was told that he would never be able to use his arms ever again, because of the burns he suffered. However, fate would be on his side, a doctor proclaimed that he could give him the use of his arms again with a form of robotics, took over Barclay's case.
