Ice and I are looking to get a new Forum RP going and we're wondering how many Fracture members would be interested in one AND commited enough to see one through.

Most problems with RP's is that the authors tend to lose interest over time/ get distracted etc. Or, there are just too many and the focus get's lost. Seen many a good forum RP die like that and we're going to try and avoid that at all costs on this one.

Soooo, depending on how many writers we have, we may have to split up the team and have each group do their own story...however, each team will follow a central Arc that's at the center of the RP.

If you're interested, post it up here so we can see where we stand. If we're only at 5 or 6 people..we'll stick with one RP and go from there....if we get into the 8 to 15 stage, we'll split things up.

Once we know who are authors are, we'll focus on the concept.....

Personally, I'm way overdue for a new RP and can't wait to get rolling on this one....so, show of hands? Who's in?

Is this enough? /end innocent smile.

Well I'm interested and I tend to stick these things out longer than most so count me in.

I'm in. I think if we get 6-8 of us we can get a pretty good RP going. We'll just brainstorm on what the story will focus on.

Already talked to Arc about this and nailed down a good basis for a story.

So I'm obviously in. :)

EDIT: oopise! I talked to Arc about an idea for the BS, not Fracture. However i'm down for this and I'll set the cogs turning on a good idea for this one, too.

I'd be interested. But I'm not apart of Fracture yet.

I can't commit to it a hundred percent because I have a terrible college schedule right now. I have to make 2 commercials, an interactive media presentation and oddly I have to dub a Cantonese kids movie in to English - all for before March. Right now most of the time I'm on the computer I'm doing some sort of work.

So if I take part my posting will be somewhat limited or by proxy (if anyone's willing for that).

Heheh....*goes off with War to take over a few magazines* we should definately try to squeeze that into the rp somehow...:chuckle:

It's just a matter of keeping the posts consistent and flowing. When one person posts 15 paragraphs, everyone else assumes they must post 15 paragraphs, and not everyone wants to do that everytime through. Quality over quantity. ;)

I agree Thresh......it's not the size of the post, but what's in it. Even a few paragraphs can keep a story going and add a ton to what's happened/happening.

A person should never feel that have to match the post before theirs. Write what feels good or adds what you want and be happy with it...don't ever feel you have to match word counts with anyone else.

Now, it looks like we're right on the verge of having 2 RP teams....we'll keep this open another day or two then close it up and get down to what the story is going to be about. :)

so perhaps we should schedule some kind of brainstorming discussion to figure out a story plot? Either here over the boards, on AIM or in-game?

AIM is best for me. =D
