Ok, I'm using a Dell PC I got through my fathers work. It's mostly an ok machine, but it irks me that I don't have a feel for what's installed on it and whatnot. Not to mention the horrible "user friendlyness".
Anyway, I just tried installing two demoes. "Chariots of War" and "Legion Gold". When the installation finished and I tried starting them up, I get a window that say the program cound't find a file and gives me the path it's supposed to be in.
So i open up the explorer and start going manually into the folders to find out if it's there or whatnot.
I get to: c:\Documants and Settings\All Users\
Next folder I'm supposed to go into is called "dokumenter" (Yeah, I forgot to mention: the damn machine has windows installed in norwegian. Whoooppeee! :mad: )
When I try to open that folder, I get a window saying (translated from norwegian, so I hope this is right):
c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Dokumenter is not available.
No access
I hate having soemthing locked away from me like this. And the reason the demoes are not starting is probably because they aren't allowed to write anything into those folders.
So anyone know how I get access?
