Lets see...the Yankees beat the Devil Rays 19-8 a few weeks ago, it seems to me, that everytime the Yankees beat any team 19-8 they forget how to win for a while. :chuckle:

I apologize for sounding like a Yankees fan back there...I'm still not used to actually being in a position where, as a Sox fan, I can ACTUALLY gloat. Bear with me... ;)

Okay okay, you got me. But I still stand behind what I said. Championships aren't won in April (for baseball) or October (for football, ask the Vikings and Chiefs about that).

I'll send you a PM in 2090 the next time the Red Sox win a title. Or maybe next year when they trade (or otherwise release) their best player to a New York team (boy, look at how 'washed up' Pedro is!). Heck, any team (see: Jeff Bagwell). Or maybe even in a few months when they learn David Wells is a "chuck n' duck" hack who we were lucky to finally be rid of. :)

Funny how players line up to flock to ONE particular team when they want to win championships. :cool:


On topic:

I don't think I was back when that contest was held but I'm hoping they keep to their word and run some more contests. Given the tardiness of I4, I kinda think CoV beta is going to be longer than WoW's beta was. :p
