I log on with the intent of playing a hero and I do a glorious job at zoning. I have DSL, and very little RAM, but I manage to get by. Playing this game now on 56k is nothing short of pretending driving knives directly into your eyes repeatedly is fun.

Good thing I update to DSL, just in the nick of time. I'm sure it's playble with 56k, I just lack the great patience of a Tibetian monk.

So, I'm playing my game, and then I decide to log into a Villain. It is shortly after this I discover that I am unable to zone into any other Zone besides Mercy Island. My villain characters are now stuck in these zones without any way of getting them out. >_<

Fortunately, my roommate has a very fast computer, so I will be able to get them out of those other zones. Sadly, however, this means I HAVE to upgrade my computer in order for me to play.

-sigh-

UNLESS! This is a error not common?

I am running below the minimum requirements, so I'm sure that has to be it.

Tah!

Not exactly sure what you mean exactly, Pseudo. I am also the recent reciepent of DSL service (it was too cheap to pass up).

I remember back in....Issue 1 through possibly 3 (with 56k), I would zone my hero to a zone that had MANY players (ie: lag-city). My game would 'hang' on the loading screen and kick me out eventually. I would re-log on (even rebooting) and when I chose the hero in question, the game would 'hang' on the hero selection screen. This problem would not clear up for me until the server reset, so sometimes I would have to wait a day or three. This also equally applied to any other heroes attempting to go into 'said' zone that my other hero was trapped in (regardless of lag or not in my opinion). The other hero would then get trapped and become unplayable.

It sounds like this is the same problem I had. But I haven't had that problem in a LONG while. I know it is quite crowded with villians in many sectors.

( I know my computer was over minimium requirements at that time, not max, but either middle ground in some areas and over requirements in others. Still the same problem)
