Either enforce the rules for everyone equally or abolish them. That is all.

If there was a way to enforce it automatically (like with avatars) it would have been done already. The sigs... we could tatoo the limitiations on everybody's arm and they'd still get bigger sigs. Ignorance, stupidity... I don't know.

Sorry I set my Av size to the biggest permitted when I joined.

If there was a size reduction at some point I missed the memo. Perhaps a general announcement would be in order rather than editing someone's Av to inform them it's too big; that could be seen as being rather rude.

What's the correct avatar size now?

Ah 100x100 (I thought my Av was 92x97; ah it is... weirdos)

Ack.. Had no idea my Avatar was too big, sorry if it was buggin ya before.

The avatar and sig sizes themselves were not bugging me... it was that some people are seemingly allowed to ignore the rule while others were told to change. I merely want the rule enforced or removed.

I ignored it because it wasn't causing any harm. It's not like it broke through the borders like some of the huge avatars I've seen. Also, no one sent me a PM asking me to change it, so it seemed to me like it wasn't a problem.

Also, if it's going to be enforced maybe it should start with some of the moderation team itself. Some mods have 120 pixel sigs as well as lines of text.

And SOME admins have avatars well beyond 100x100....

And *some* Avatars are just too damn big for any forum... :P

Well, there's only 3 of them, I thought it would be obvious...

This issue is NOT the sizes. The issue is that there is a rule that is(or was) being selectively enforced.

This coming from the man whose sig takes up fully three inches of my screen real estate.

Looks fine to me. What is your screen resolution and what browser do you use? I find that IE gets a bit confused sometimes with multiple images on the same line and will stack them above one another instead of side by side if they overshoot the screen width too much.
