Hey all,
I've decided to delay the building of our base for the time to come for some easy reasons. This does not mean I won't build it, put the items in it, etc, I'll just wait a bit. Here's why:
- Yin was right and we did have to pay rent yesterday. 222 prestige for not having anything really. I think this might go up if we put more items in there, even if we can't actively use them.
- Prestige earning is bugged. When you log out or are disconnected, the prestige earned in the 10 prior minutes is lost. This prestige will obviously be refunded to players/SGs once the bug is fixed.
- There is a huge bug with base items disappearing after being placed. This is really the main reason. You do get the prestige back for the placed item, but NOT the salvage used to build it if it was a crafted item. There are numerous reports of vanished telepads on the official forum. I want this bug officially fixed before I place anything important in the base.
What does this mean for us? Nothing really. Keep playing, keep having fun, keep earning prestige if you will. We are actually doing fine with earning right now. I just wanted to explain why the base might not advance in the days (or weeks *shiver*) to come.
