View Full Version : I6 Issues - ATI Cards
If you own any ATI card you will have issues with the game. There are a number of people with an ATI having issues with the new engine. It's a known fact to both Cryptic's hardware team and ATI. They just released a 5.11 driver update, and Cuppajo said that until 5.12+ the problem will gradually get better. So just hang in there.

You can use Omega drivers, they fix any problems, they are optimized ATI drivers... With 9600 cards you lose capability of WMV vid's tho.
I have a 9600pro, and i dont have any problems. Good looking out though :)
Well dang. Heh. How much RAM do you people have? I'm running a 512. That's probably the problem.

Have a 9800Pro, and I see the Bloom effects fading in and out. Recently added a gig of ram, though, so that might be helping things out again.

I'm running the same card, once I got the latest drivers it ran smooth as silk again.
I found out what the problem was, and I'm pissed.
Scheduling. :P There is a MASS traffic congested rush when scheduling here at Edinboro, and the Freshman class JUST scheduled last night, and there were thousands of people on the Internet. It's been going on since I've scheduled, which has put a burden on the bandwidth given here. But now that the huge majority of scheduling is over, I no longer am having problems with the game. I might run into an instance or two where I'll have a delay, but it'll be for a few minutes. I still want more RAM, and possibly another card.
