How goes the brute Morc?

I noticed you working on a new Brute. How do you like it? I dabbled in Tanker-dom a year or two ago so I'm curious.

It goes fine. It's a Solo and PvE build though. For any Team or PvP Brutes you'll want to check the resistance builds. Mine is Aura and mostly damage, though it has some Lethal, Smashing, and even Energy Resistance. My build's more for quickly dispatching without pausing PvE Solo missions with even con enemies. Duoing with Corruptors will increase any Brute's ability to rush through a mission.

Morc is he Energy/Energy Brute? I made one with Grae Apocalypse and he is great. I did some number crunching for my resistances and defenses and he is coming along very nice. Spent some time in Bloddy Bay with him and he faired pretty well. I like the defense/resistance combo of energy and add in the stealth power you can pick up later and he has got some skills. I plan to tack on tough and weave and should be able to almost cap out his damage resistance for smashing/lethal.

No he's a Dark/Energy Brute. He uses Boxing, Shadow Punch, Shadow Maul and Siphon Life as his quick attack chain. By doing that he gets his fury capped in just a few enemies and can keep it capped quite easily. Midnight Grasp will be my big damage attack. Soul Drain will assure that I can have a fairly stable damage and accuracy boost while doing AoE damage along with my AoE +End Dark Consumption. And once I get Energy Drain and Conserve Energy, adding that combo with Dark Consumption I'll be able to just barrel through missions without pause since I'll be able to slot my Siphon Life with the Heal enhancements instead of end and spam it as my def and res powers keep me from taking much damage to begin with.

But that's my alt. My main is a lvl 31 Mind/Energy Dominator.

Could combo. I will be using Total Focus with 3 recharges on it for my big full fury attack once I get high enough for the enhancements slots. I love my Brute. He is good to log on and do 2 or 3 missions solo when no one is on to team or I am in a isolationist mood.
