The Corruptors of Paragon Rules and Regulations

Respect and Mediation

1. The Corruptors of Paragon will exhibit superior OOC skills with respect given out where needed. If RPing in an evil/malevolent persona that insults other players, make sure that the other players know so as to avoid conflict.
2. The Corruptors will treat their fellow villains with respect and dignity. If there is a High Council member on report, let him at as a mediating force. The Puppeteer (the second highest rank) member will then send a report of the event to a Lord (the highest ranking position), just to understand the situation as resolved.
3. Any insults regarding an Lord or Puppeteerl member will be looked down upon severely, though there will be mediation to make sure of no abuse of power.
4. If no higher ranking individual is on, and there is a desire that conflict be mediated, send an in-game email or an equivalent way of communicating with a higher ranking member.
5. In no way will the age of a player be a factor of superiority over other players. Everybody will be treated with equal respect if they deserve it.

Activity

1. Alts are allowed in this group, though they will not be considered for any leadership and are encouraged to play at least once a month and try to attend meetings.
2. The limit of inactivity is two months, no game presence nor board presence, without contacting of a higher rank.
3. Board participation is encouraged, and signing up and putting an application on the boards is a requirement.
4. All members are pushed to encourage people they think suitable to the CoP to submit an applications.
5. Applicants will be examined by members and at least one high-ranked individual before being accepted, and he will need to have completed a thorough application

Meetings

1. Meetings will be held when leaders agree on a date to set them.
2. Issues regarding our VG will be discussed, though those not attending without informing us you won’t be attending will miss out on bringing up their views and arguments for such views in front of the group.
3. Issues that look as though we may need to vote on before going forward will be posted on the Boards.

Main Member Alts

1. Until we grow into a full group, the number of characters on the roster a character can have is 2.
2. When the VG fills membership, a separate group will be created, either to house alts or continue membership.

Optional Activity

1. If members would like to have special nights where they meet up, for instance a PvP night or a SF night, you are encouraged to post it on the board!

PvP

1. PvP is not required, though those that participate, keep it civil.
2. Griefing is discouraged. What goes on in the Arena/PvP Zone, stays there.
3. Base raids are encouraged to the highest degree.

SG Channel

1. Talk in the SG channel should remain light RP to OOC.
2. Coalition will be an RP channel with our allies.
3. Abusive vulgarity is discouraged in the channels. As said before, keep it civil.

Allies

1. All rules applying to CoP members will apply to our interaction among allies as well.
2. If some major dispute/harassment goes on between allies of different VGs, contact a Lord who will discus it with the leaders of those other groups.
3. CoP members are encouraged to make friends with our allies. Even villains have allies…

Our Stance on Power Leveling

1. Power leveling is allowed, but not encouraged, in our group, but the bragging rights should remain small.
2. Each individual has a personal choice to make whether they want to power level or not. It is encouraged that you do the story arcs, or you may look like a dolt if people ask you about it.
3. High level SKing is considered a better solution because at least you are working with a team member to achieve a higher level.

These are the rules and regulations, but keep in mind we are flexible! If somebody provides a decent argument for changing a rule and majority rules in favor, it can pass.

Hmm. A few of these conflict with my rule number 1.

Rule # 1: Darknesse does what he wants. If someone asks me about a story arc and I say "dunno, I grinded and picked up a bunch of salvage", then that's my choice, right?

I have no problem with you not caring about the story arcs and doing your own thing, just as long as you contribute in helping the group be some type of family, however you deem necessary. I also hope that you don't try to make people feel uncomfortable :P... But that's all. And in all honesty, Atom hardly cared about the story arcs when he was on his drive.
