What is the difference in subject matter between the 'The Asylum' and 'Paragon's Party Place' sections?

The asylum is were Worthy posts that have a good subject go, while the party place is where mindless crapgoes.

In the asylum stuff should mean something or have cool links. No nudity or foul anything.
In Spam forum you can post naerly topless chicks. Play stupid games. Make posts just to say "rashamudabloopee" etc.

*Technically* there probably is no difference, since the Asylum and Paragon Party Place are both for Off-Topic items. However, I'd say the Paragon Party Place is probably for stuff like where entire discussions can be held simply by saying "I bAnZZ0reZ j00 for not having any Jigglies!" "Oh yeah? Well to that I say Dumptruck!", and more coherent threads on random topics of the world can be found in the Asylum.
