Hail Villain! Are you interested in joining an active villain group full of truly evil (but otherwise friendly and helpful) beings? Then consider joining the FALLEN LEGION.
The Fallen Legion is quickly establishing itself as one of the premier villain groups on the Victory server. With over 100 active ciminals, there are almost always accomplices online. We pride ourselves on activity, and regularly host scheduled events for our flunkies. We frequently team for missions, PvP, roleplaying, or just general chat in our SG channel and in TeamSpeak. Villains aren’t here just to say they’re in a supergroup. They are expected to participate with other group members, remain active in game and log in to our web site regularly to check news and upcoming events.
If you’re looking for a super villain group to join that’s very active or are tired of being in a group that never does anything, consider Fallen Legion. Aside from world conquest, we have two main goals- to be active and to have a good time while being villainous! If that’s what you’re looking for too then join the Fallen.
Drop by our web site at http://fallenlegion.guildportal.com and click on "Enlistment". There, you will find information about the Fallen Legion andabout the Fallen Legion and instructions for joining. See you in the Rogue Isles!

As a long time member and officer of Legion of Valor (CoH, Victory server), I could not wait for City of Villains to be released. I knew that we would create the same presence in CoV that we had in CoH. We have always had one major goal: To establish a real sense of community within the game for our members. Now that we have created Fallen Legion (CoV, Victory server), our goals are the same. We pride ourselves on our level activity, enthusiasm, and willingness to help in a team oriented atmosphere. We will carry this same level of dedication with us into CoV and provide an SG with regularly scheduled events ranging in scope from PvP to missions, TFs, and even some roleplaying thrown in the mix. We currently have 100 members and see no reason to stop there.
If you are interested in a VERY active SG that caters to both the casual and the most hardcore of players, visit our website. We look forward to teaming with you.

I’m in Fallen Legion and I just wanted to say its great having someone to team with this early on in this game’s evolution. There is rarely a time when there is no one to team with so making it through the first few troubling levels without a travel power go by that much faster. Also there are events that can be scheduled by anyone in the super group for badge missions, or task forces, or something like a role playing event just for fun.
If want to find teams quickly without the hassle of pick-up teams, check out http://fallenlegion.guildportal.com for information on how you can join one of the most active SGs in the game.

If your looking for an active and villainous group, then Fallen Legion is perfect for you. With 100+ members and scheduled events happening several times a week, there is always something for you to do. FL has the worst of the worst when it comes to villains. But behind the evil deeds are the friendliest people you will meet. If you need a hand with something, they are there. If you need a little spare cash, they are there. Teamspeak is a great way to get to know people, and learn more than just the character they are playing.
I joined FL’s sister SG Legion of Valor a little over 6 months ago. When I started playing CoH I played on the Guardian server. My brother played on Victory and so I got to see how amazing LoV was. When I hit 50 I decided to switch over to Victory and join LoV. Switching over is a choice that I will never regret, because I got to meet all the people I now know in LoV. I joined FL when CoV came and I am still enjoying the time I spend with the members. They put a lot of fun into the game. It also really helps to have people to team with and not always have to rely on getting together a pick up team.
Never have to look for a pick up team again, and team with the awesome members of Fallen Legion.
If all this sounds perfect for you then come check us out at http://fallenlegion.guildportal.com.

Update:
In the five months we've been active, Fallen Legion has achieved a lot:
61 official events
4,000 forum posts
#2 in prestige on Victory (second only to our hero SG)
a large, nicely decorated base
over 120 members
The best part of Fallen Legion, though, are our great members. They are friendly, helpful and available. If you're looking for a truly great villain group, give Fallen Legion (http://fallenlegion.guildportal.com) a try.

The Fallen Legion has been very successful lately but we're always looking for more friendly players. If you're looking for a well organized, active villain group with lots of criminals to team up with, drop by the Fallen Legion Enlistment (http://fallenlegion.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=36598&TabID=326059) page!

Hiya, everyone! :)
I wanted to share something exciting happening on the CoH Victory server soon -- the Legion of Valor is sponsoring a huge costume contest on Saturday, August 19th (see the thread located at http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=Victory&Number=6083545&page=1&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=all for full details). The prizes we're offering really set this apart from your run-of-the-mill contest -- a great big hats off to our member Pagan Priest who is bankrolling this!
In addition, we're currently in talks with w00t radio to cover the event live, and possibly even take part in the judging!
This is typical of the kinds of things that we're able to do in Legion of Valor and our sister VG, Fallen Legion. With so many active players, we're really just starting to scratch the surface of massive, server-wide events such as this (in fact, our next effort will focus on CoV).
So if you're looking for big-time server-wide events such as this, or just a great group of folks to team with at all hours, Legion of Valor/Fallen Legion are good bets. Come by and see us sometime!

Okay, the big Legion of Valor Victory Server costume contest is coming up soon (August 19th -- see post above)! It's exciting to see that we've received almost 20 advance sign-ups at this point, and I'm sure even more people will want a crack at those wonderful prizes at the last minute. :)
Judging from some of the toons already entered, there's going to be some VERY heavy competition! So stop by and see who turns out, even if you don't have a character you want to enter. A full cadre of LoV folks will be on hand (in our spiffy SG uniforms!), so if you have any questions, please feel free to post them here or ask them in person on the 19th.
And watch this space for some soon-to-come plans regarding our villain group Fallen Legion!

Well, the big event happened, and what a wonderful experience for everyone involved! We had 5 very happy winners, two toons that took away honorable mentions, and a ton of folks from all over that had a great time! :)
This is just the tip of the iceberg, though, folks -- there are plans in the works for CoV-related events, contests and giveaways, as well as CoH stuff. The Legion of Valor and Fallen Legion are serious about wanting to give back to the community on the Victory Server, which has always been so supportive. In fact, if anyone has any ideas for events, please contact me and I will take them under advisement.
Here's hoping everyone has a wonderful (and long!) holiday weekend. :D

Greetings, everyone! :)
Well, there's a new and mysterious character on the scene -- someone calling himself "Legion Claus" has been spotted in both Paragon City and the Rogue Isles ambushing heroes and villains alike and forcing high-level DO and SO enhancements on them!
Nobody has been able to get a clear photo of this guerilla benefactor as yet, so stay alert -- you never know when or where he will be spotted next! ;)

Hello, heroes! :)
It's been awhile since I've posted, sorry about that! Things have been pretty interesting for Victory SGs lately, and not in the best of ways. As I'm sure many of you know, Victory server had a bit of a glitch lately where many SGs and VGs lost the use of their bases for the better part of a week. Luckily, the devs were able to eventually fix the problem, but let me tell you, I think we all gained a new perspective on the wonderful bases that our groups have taken for granted.
Both our groups enjoy the use of large, multi-functional bases with reclamators, inspiration and enhancement storage, and a full set of telepads linking us with every zone in the game. Going back to a state of the game where we didn't have all those nice luxuries was quite an experience to be sure! :D
Take care, all. Scarlet -- OUT!

Hi again, everyone!
This time around I wanted to pose a question to anyone out there reading these posts. Recently, Fallen Legion and Legion of Valor sponsored another server event in Warburg. Apparently there was quite a bit of pre-event interest and questions, but when it came time for the event, almost nobody showed.
Now, granted that the event was scheduled during the first few days of the Halloween event in the game, so that certainly had some effect on attendance. At times in the past, however, we've had issues with these sorts of things. We offered pretty good prizes (Best Buy gift cards, T-shirts), but the turnout was still lukewarm.
Both Legions are VERY interested in giving back to the server community in as many ways as we can, sponsoring events being one of them. If anyone has any ideas of interesting types of events that the Victory server would possibly be into, please let us know.
You'll be seeing more and more of these types of server-wide-aimed events in the weeks and months to come, and we're always open to suggestions/comments.
That is all for now. Stained Glass Scarlet -- OUT! :-)

Hiya, guys! :-)
Okay, thought we'd do something a little different this time. On the forums for the Legion groups, we asked our members to name a few things they thought were great about being a member of the SGs so that we could make something of a "Top 25 Reasons to Join Fallen Legion/Legion of Valor" list.
Well, the upshot is that we got a few more than just 25 reasons. ;-) I've distilled the list down a bit and here it is for your viewing pleasure:
Top 25 (well, 34) Reasons to Join Fallen Legion/Legion of Valor
1. Over 160 members (FL)/230 members (LoV)
2. Top ranked supergroup/villain group on Victory

10. Private Teamspeak server
11. Favorite SG/VG Players Choice Awards
12. 11,000+ forums posts (on FL side); 41,000+ (on LoV)
13. 220 scheduled events in FL, 675 in LoV
14. Fallen Legion around since CoV beta, Legion of Valor for 2.5+ years
15. Friendly and helpful members
16. No drama

22. Friendly and helpful members
23. Monthly screenshot competition and player of the month awards
24. Active during off-peak hours
25. Lots of 50s with more than enough influence to support lowbies, allowing everyone to stay in SG mode most of the time and pay for ever better base stuff
26. Lots of experienced players from all over the world
27. LoV will be the first SG on Victory server with a secure base
28. GuildPortal featured supergroup
29. Strict no-griefing policy
30. "Elderly" (in computer gaming terms) members common and welcome
31. No trash-talking of other SGs
32. No prestige quotas

If this comes off as bragging, it's certainly not meant as such. We're all just very proud of our SGs and what we all, as a group of players, have accomplished in the game. We look forward to many more achievements and lots of fun, and hopefully some of you will join us for it!

Greetings, everyone! :)
I hope you all are having a great Thanksgiving weekend, gang. Just wanted to drop a quick word about something else going on in the Legion SGs -- this time around, it's the Fallen Legion (our villain group).
A few months ago, we hooked up with an IMMENSELY talented artist, Curt Allen, who owns Hero Portrait Studios, and he became the Legion's official "patron artist". In the time since, Curt has done over a dozen shots of various SG members, but the crowning achievement so far was a group portrait of the Legion of Valor members. I'd tell you it's stunning, but why not see for yourself?
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a193/eric_nelson/LoV%20group%20portrait/LoVportraitlarge.jpg
Beautiful, isn't it? Well, now Curt is going to do the same for Fallen Legion, and I'll bet it will even surpass his first group portrait!
This is a really neat bonus to being in the Legion SGs, having special events and deals such as this portrait. Once we get a finished product, I'll be sure to post a link so everyone can see how it turns out.
That's all for now, but watch Atlas Park and the Rogue Isles (on the Victory server, natch) for another appearance soon of the enigmatic "Legion Claus". He'll be bounding around, giving out high-level enhancements to people from the Legion. Until then, take care, everyone, and don't eat too much pie (is there such a thing???). ;)

Greetings, everyone.
Well, it's been a little while since I've updated this thread, because I was waiting for something to come to pass so that I could address it here.
A short time ago, something extremely momentous occurred for the Legion groups -- our founder and long-time leader, Cosmic Titan, finally had to step down and hand over the reins of his beloved SGs. The day many thought could never come finally has.
Many of you know, sometimes from bitter experience, that the transition of leadership in a guild can be chaotic, often tearing a group apart irrevocably. However, the strong foundation of honor, respect and maturity that CT laid down has exerted itself fully, as most of us knew it would.
We have a new leader (LastGunslinger), a long-time Legionnaire, and the same strong officer corps we've had for quite some time. It's smooth sailing, and the future of the Legion SGs looks bright!
Come join us and help write a new chapter in an exciting saga -- tell 'em SGS sent ya! :)

I thought I'd talk a bit this time about persistence. A number of our "boomerang" members recently have commented that the Legion is one of the few guilds in MMORPGs they're aware of where they could leave a game entirely for months at a time, decide to come back, and STILL find the group chugging along, as alive and active as ever.
That's something that's eternally amazing about this group of people. Of course individuals will come and go, to some extent, but the core "lifers" we have, and the steady, solid people that the Legion attracts, keep the group on an even keel with low levels of drama, year in and year out.
So here's to the persistent SGs/VGs out there. Even longer may they all live (to serve their members)! :)
