DVD box sets are all the rage... I mean sheesh, Some things come out on DVD before they even leave the theatres or before the seasons end!

What DVD (or Box sets) do they REALLY REALLY need to put out?

Me? I'd like to see:

The Misfits of Science - a superhero sitcom circa 1985. lasted all of 16 episodes... Very cool as i remember it... although probably older than half the forum readers here  oh, and it had a young Courtney Cox... she was a cutie back then...

The Tick (cartoon series) - who cannot know the Tick? The cartoon was AWESOME. Lasted an incredible 3 years (36 episodes), and unbelievably is NOT yet out on DVD... What's up with that?????

The original remastered Star Wars Trilogy. (Before they added the extra footage, when they just went back and fixed the film errors and improved the color and made the sound better.)

And Dr. Katz

Put me down for The Tick as well. Comedy gold, and it actually had continuity (Chairface's half carved name on the moon for instance.)

Every last old school Nickolodeon show:

The ORIGINAL All That
The Adventures of Alex Mack
Animorphs
Rocko's Modern Life
Ah! Real Monsters
Space Cases
Salute Your Shorts
The Roundhouse
Rugrats
Doug
Are You Afraid of the Dark?
Lengends of the Hidden Temple
Wild and Crazy Kids!
Double Dare
Kenan and Kel
My Brother and Me

Nickoloden would make an empire if they did this because the Nickoloden kids have now is absolutely crap. I don't bother watching any of it.

Some of you have shows that are on DVD listed, for your pleasure...

Invader Zim Boxset with a free G.I.R toy! (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00069A6WC/103-0244216-8122249?v=glance&n=130&n=507846&s=dvd&v=glance)
Zelda the Animated Series (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000AA4F2E/103-0244216-8122249?v=glance&n=130&s=dvd&v=glance)

Nickelodeon is starting to get some of their old shows out on DVD, they call it The Rewind Collection, so far they have season one of "Clarissa Explains it All" and seasons one and two of "The Adventures of Pete & Pete". I heard they will start to put more out.

Animaniacs and Pinky and The Brain have a VERY good chance of coming onto DVD, a few places have reported that WB wants to do them, noting on Freakazoid! though.

I already posted before that WB is considering Batman Beyond as well as Justice League for DVD, but nothing for sure.

Other show's I'd like to see.

Sailor Moon:Sailor Stars (Over 10 years and they haven't finished the series!)
The Tick
Freakazoid!

A lot of good shows are coming to DVD, I can't wait for Mission Hill to come to DVD, it was a great show.

Titus. The best sitcom that nobody ever watched.

And second on Rocko's Modern Life. That was an incredible show. There's an episode where Rocko goes to the supermarket that had me literally rolling on the floor. Somehow his dog ends up getting sealed into a meat package and hijinks ensue.

Oooh, ya... I'll have agree with The D&D Cartoon and Mask and Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors and... and... and... <snif snif> it brings back such great childhood memories...

Which reminded me of a few other Saturday morning cartoons I'd really want on DVD:

C.O.P.S. (the cartoon a few years before the "original reality" one)
Pole Position (talking cars that have very very little to do with the old video game)
Galtar and the Golden Lance
The Pirates of Darkwater (is that out yet?)

80s cartoons rock. :headbang:

Titus is out on DVD.

I'd like to see Birds of Prey on DvD as well as The Flash.

Johnny B ROCKED. And besides, if they're gonna put the Misfits on DVD, they'd HAVE to put Manimal out as well.

Also, the version of Transformers: The Movie that played in theaters (Spike cursed about a half dozen times - nothing major, just "What the hell are we gonna do, Bumblebee?" kinda stuff and Hot Rod was very much the typical teenager in demeanor). The VHS version is heavily edited (it was PG in the movies but G on video), which sucks.

Did SOMEBODY say The Flash!?? (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BPL2EM/103-0244216-8122249?v=glance&n=130&n=507846&s=dvd&v=glance) :D

I still can't beleve that Jonathan Brandis killed himself, I loved him in Sidekicks and on Seaquest.

Note I have no idea if any of these actually are out on DVD or not. They could be, but I'm too lazy to look it up. Nor am I saying I'd rush right out and buy them if they were available, it'd just be cool to see.

Animated:
MASK
The Mighty Orbots
C.O.P.S.
The Pirates of Dark Water
Visionaries

Non-Animated:
The State

I'll add to this if I think of more.

Hmm.... Lemme think.....

The Centurions (Yeah, that was a Cartoon show... not great... but I liked it. About guys in power armor that could interchange parts by using some space station teleporter thing and they fought Cyborgs.... Yeah.. weird show)
80% of the Old School Action cartoons they played on Cartoon Network around 1994.
S.W.A.T. Cats
(Keep in mind I can BARELY Remember half of these shows, I just remember liking them alot as a kid.)
As for shows I loved as a kid that I hope don't make it to DVD: Early Power Rangers, VR Troopers, Beetleborgs.

I Agree about the old School Nick shows.

They Put Zim in a box Set with G.I.R.? Damnit, I just bought the DVD's as they came out.

Titus was an awesome show.

I still watch the Tick whenever I see it on the channel Guide. Awesome show.

Wow..didn't know he was dead.

On a different note I used to love Sliders...then they went and F-ed it all up with that Cro-mag BS.

Also can't beleive how many old cartoons I'm being reminded of here, Dark Water & MASK just freakin rocked :headbang:

Mystery Science Theater 3000 on Region 2. That's all I want. And maybe those old 60's/70's Marvel Superhero Shows with Thor, Cap, Namor and Iron Man.
