Ok....sooooooo I've been kind of floating this idea in my head of an all-military personnel supergroup that is loosely based around the "Axis Powers" coalition that germany/italy/japan had during WWII

The Axis Powers is a term for those participants in World War II (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Participants_in_World_War_II) opposed to the Allies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allies_of_World_War_II). The 3 major Axis powers, Nazi Germany (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_Germany), Fascist Italy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascist_Italy), and the Empire of Japan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empire_of_Japan), referred to themselves as the "Rome (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rome)-Berlin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berlin)-Tokyo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyo) Axis". At their zenith, the Axis powers ruled empires (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empire) that dominated large portions of Europe (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europe) and the Asia-Pacific (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asia-Pacific) region, but they were ultimately defeated in the end of World War II (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II). Like the Allies, membership of the Axis was fluid, and some nations entered and later left the Axis during the course of the war.
