Damn you for having a wireless connection. I would try out the PSP's internet capablities if I had a WiFi connection as well though.

Just buy like a $90 wifi router. Lets you play online, improves security and allows for multiple connections. Where can you go wrong!?

Yeah, I'm currently mooching off of the guy next door because he doesn't know how to secure his network.
I COULD get free wi-fi internet from my apartment complex, but God knows how bad that connection is with 20+ people surfing the internet at the same time.

What's a PSP?

Unless something else has come out I don't know about, PlayStation Portable. I gotta get one myself, but I suspect it's going to be like trying to find the PS2s when they first came out.
(Of course, this just makes me wonder why the PSP has a browser, and the PS2 STILL doesn't...)

Is that like a PlayStation Gameboy?
How can you get PlayStation-level graphics on a screen that small?
How much do they cost?

I dunno, it's pure magic mixed with a lot of good ol' fashioned Japanese know-how.

Is that like a PlayStation Gameboy?
But much, much better. :D
How can you get PlayStation-level graphics on a screen that small?
With a shoehorn.
(Seriously, the PSP is about the same size as a cell phone, or maybe a bit bigger. And it's held horizontally, so the screen space is pretty decent)
How much do they cost?
I think that they're really expensive right now, like 250 dollars. But that's just what I've heard. As I said, I can't seem to find one.

Can you play actual PS2 games on them, or do you have to buy all new ones?
Either way, $250 for a Gameboy, even a cool internet-ready Gameboy, makes me pretty queasy.

Unfortunately, none of the existing games will work on them. (It uses small Gamecube like CDs) And I believe there are only about four or five titles available right now. So no, it's probably not worth $250 unless you're a real overwheming techno geek.
Which naturally I am :D Although in all honesty I haven't decided if I will buy one. Probably I'll just try and find one first.
Oh, also, the small CDs used are, I think, a Sony standard of some kind, so there is music and movies available on them, as well.

its $250
PS2 graphics on the thing. VERY sharp screen
can play Mp3s, videos, look at pics. play games online. They make DVDs in the format for the PSP.
Theres about 10-15 games out right now.
It's not really a broswer, it's more of a hack. This game called 'Wipeout Pure' allows you to download updates and you can change the DNS so it connects to a portal where you can put links and stuff. Sounds complicated but isn't.
And the games out are great!
Lumines-Best puzzle game ever
Metal Gear Acid-Challenging Turen based RPG shooter game
Twisted metal-classic
NFSU-enough said
Wipeout, gotta have, like uber fun f-zero plus the browser thing
theres more that I can't think of
PS.
Here's a good wifi router to check out:
