Vegas!!!!!!!

Well, I will be going to vegas tomorrow, and at the hotel tuesday, Im bringing my laptop and the room have internet, so i will be in touch... I will make sure to take lots of photos, Im going to one of the largest hobby conventions of the year, It has R/C cars, r/c planes, r/c boats, Miniature rockets, We will be trying to get distributors to buy our figurines so i can hopefully one day go to college!:P I'll be back about the first of may, and I will get to go to a friggen Go kart track, gonna race my dad and my brother, hopefully My 1337 driving simulator skeelz will make me winz0rz. My badge will be "Ian Bowers- Product Tester" So hopefully, y'know, Traxxas, or Tamiya, will give me a R/C car to review!:P

The hilton hotel im staying at will have the star trek expierence, and i -will- be bringing my DARTH VADER mask, with my lightsaber if i can find it, It also has a neato video arcade, so imma have some fun there.

For those of you that talk to me on aim, which is nobody, unless i message them, My poison oak is Extremely bad atm, and im hoping i will be okay... Im started to scab up and get all bloody now, and it hurts... But that ain't gonna stop me from swinging... *dancey dance*. Im gonna be right on the strip, i think.... I hopefully won't have any allergies, since this is a desert, so i May feel good!

I'm leaving for Vegas Tuesday morning. We're staying at the Venetian. Not saying we should get together, as I'm sure you're family would wonder who this stranger is approaching their 12 year old son. But if I see you in the Star Trek Experience I'll say hi. I assume you'll be the only one there with a Darth Vader helmet. BTW, if I see you with that thing I'm going to knock you aside your head.


Anyway stranger things have been known to happen so I very well could run into you there.

The Trek Experience is awsome, though I haven't been on the new one (the Borg story), so I'm not sure what to expect. I'll be totally honest, though, if it's like the first, everything leading up to the ride is cooler than the ride itself, but it's still cool. :D

I can't say that I really reccomend doing anything else when you're younger than 21 (myself included) in Vegas. It's not that great... though some of the comedy shows and Cirque d'Soleil are awesome, oh, and Blue Man Group.

I'm back too. We got in at 1:00 am last night. I haven't gone through my pics yet, but I'm get them up in the next couple of days.

Tark, were you by chance sitting in the airport Tuesday afternoon between 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm, playing a Gameboy or some sort of handheld? I think I might have passed by you on my way to baggage claim.

Okay here are some pics for you guys. The first set is of our room and the inside of Venetian where we stayed, along with a pic of Belagio. Also there are some pics of Hoover Dam where we stopped off on one of our travels.

The next set is the Valley of Fire national park. There is a lot more to do in Vegas than just gamble, in case anyone was wondering. The Valley of Fire is just one location you can go, and you could spend a whole day in there. Notice I got some shots of the Indian Petroglyphs in here also. The Hoover Dam pics in the first album are from the same day. You can take the long way around the Valley of Fire and get to Hoover Dam.

And the last set is at the Star Trek Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton. For any of you Star Trek fans, if you're in Vegas this is a MUST see. I think Tark would agree with me. These contain pics of my buddy and me, I'm the one in the Hard Rock cap and the gray sweater. The ones with Ronnell (Ferengi) and the two ladies, my wife is on the left of Ronnell in the black sweater.

That's all I have, unfortunately I didn't have my camera the night we saw Penn and Teller, which sucks because at the end of the show they were out in the hallway signing autographs and taking pictures. We saw George Carlin on Friday night, but no cameras were allowed in the theater.

Vegas is really fun and everyone should experience it at least once, or twice.

You stayed at the Venetian? Lucky. That's a really pretty hotel. When I went, I stayed at the Mirage, and my room smelled like something damp. :grr:

Otherwise, it looks like you had fun! I wish I could've seen George Carlin, but alas... no.
