Need a battle cry?

So occasionally I get stumped for a battle cry, wouldn't you know there's a generator for that too.

actually, nevermind, that one can get quite profane.

Anyone know a good place to find battle cries?

Those are also kinda long, be nice to find a list of unusual ones, like the phrontistery, only for battle cries...

None of mine were really fitting aside from Atse'Hashke & Miss Judgement's:

Striding on the terrain, wielding a burning branch, cometh Atse'Hashke! And he gives a low roar:

"Blood and souls for my dark lord! I shall fill the world with the stench of death!!!"

Lo! Who is that, running amidst the terrain! It is Major 0bvious, hands clutching a jeweled meat hammer! He bellows apocalyptically:

"Hail the blood-letting! I tear into the enemy until my glands are satisfied!!"

Lo! Who is that, skulking on the freeway! It is Dr. Flamestrike, hands clutching a reflective halberd! He screams ominously:

"I'm seriously going to hump you so heinously, your screams will reanimate the dead!"

Zang! Who is that, rampaging on the icy wasteland! It is Muscular Beaver, hands clutching a jeweled meat hammer! He roars mightily:

"For the love of beatings, I lay waste to the landscape until Satan himself emerges from the pit to thank me!!!"

Who is that, running on the mini-mall parking lot! It is Nurse Red Cross, hands clutching two hardened pitas! And with a booming cry, her voice cometh:

"I'm going to pulverize you into the danger zone!!!"

Running on the hotel lobby, clutching a burning branch, cometh Miss Judgement! And she gives a bloodthirsty howl:

"Brace yourself, oh human speck of dust! I will bend the enemy to my wicked will!"

Skulking across the plains, swinging a sharpened screwdriver, cometh Krystal Power! And she gives a mighty roar:

"I'm going to punch you backwards in time, and launch you into deep space!"

Skulking on the freeway, attacking with gilded boxing gloves, cometh Brimstonia! And she gives a gutteral grunt:

"I'm going to forcibly reverse your gender!!!"

Since Head RUsh is an extreme sport enthusiast, it fits amazingly well. I'll hold on to that one for CoV and his evil twin :D

I found the answer, all this time I was looking up battle cry, altered my search to battle sayings, and then finally ended up with Latin Sayings (http://members.ozemail.com.au/~enigman/latin.html) good stuff.

Seriously, I think my favorite battle cry of all time has to be the one I came up with for Blue Diamond:

"Congratulations, punk. You just won a first class seat on Blue Diamond airways. Courtesy of MY FIST!!!"

I think I may have stolen it from somewhere, but if I did, I don't remember.

I know this is out of date and all, but I just wanted to point out that that we're not bound by the space limitation given us on the description screen. You just bind a battlecry to your F10 button and can use as much text in as the chat window will allow in a single line...

/bind F10 "say Your battlecry is small and pathetic, while mine is large and mighty!!"

I've said that what I would like to see, though, is a way to specify a file on your computer that $battlecry would randomly read battle cries out of. Thus you could have the equivalent of my rotating battlecry/taunts without actually having to define multiple bindfiles.

I've also said it would be cool if using $battlecry made the nearest NPC respond. (with some random insult) Normally it would just make it look like you were taunting each other, but if you got down to that last MOB you can never find, you could shout out the $battlecry, and track him back by his speech bubble.

That'd be cool, along the lines of the AI responses they implemented in I12.

Also, it's probably fairly easy for them to increase the battle cry field size, but they haven't seen it as an issue. I mean, they're already storing all of our keybinds for every character, and macros, and lazerjesus knows that's a messa stuff to store for some people O_o

I like this idea. Macros, except coded so that the game actually interacts with you, and you're not just talking to yourself. It's like Wids' perfect feature.
