"We have you surrounded Ahmes! Theres nowhere to go..." Many brutish looking men crowded around a single dark figure. This figure was cloaked in red and black cloth. Chains rattled against his body as he looked around at each of the men. A blade hung at his side, wrapped in cloth. As he reached for it all of the men drew their curved blades.

"hahahaha...." the figure cackled. At this each of the men drew in closer to him. They brought back their blades for one massive kill stroke and just as they all swung down he dissapeared into thin air. Then several men dropped to the ground, each with gaping wounds in their legs. The torches that were perched on the walls all went out and the room was covered in complete darkness. All around each of these mens lifes were ending at the hands of this figure. No man was spared...

A trail of blood led out of the tomb, not that of the men, but of this figures. He collapsed on a river bank and reappeared. His clothing was ripped to shreds and his pale skin had several deep cuts. His hand clutched one particular cut which went deep. Blood poured from under his palm. "No...ugh...why?!" In the waters of the river a face formed. The face scowled back at the wounded figure.
"You, Ahmes are pathetic! The great warrior brought down to his knees. You will die tonight, and the inevitable will happen. You will suffer....." It spoke to him.
"No! I think not. Im not in your grasp yet Hades!" he slashed the water with his sword and fell over in pain. Then, he muttered to himself the words "I shed my own blood, so that my soul may live on..." He Slowly brought himself to his feet and limped into the water. His hand clutched his blade tightly. He brought it to his neck slit it. The figure fell, lifeless. The waters all around exploded, washing the blade down the river.
And it was forgotten. The locals dared not to look for the blade or even speak of it for fear of its curse. Ahmes soul was sealed in the steel, so that he may live on for all eternity.
