Iron-Man cover...

So the preview of the Top Cow comic with Positron on the cover got me thinking about something.

I remember there was a similar Iron Man cover, and I don't know if it was a real production cover or just a concept from an independent artist that roamed the COH community. But in any case, it's not the one I find on the net from the Ultimates, it had many many many more wires all snaking around the room and into Iron Man's suit.

Anyone remember the one I'm talking about? Know where to find it?

I haven't seen this Positron cover but I think I know what piece of Iron-Man art you're talking about. I seem to remember it was posted in the BHAT and had been Photoshopped in to someone's character.

I seem to remember someone mentioning that it was an anniversary cover because it really was a spectacular piece of art.

Yeah, the Iron Man one really looked awesome, very detailed, very...awesome. Thought I'd saved a copy somewhere but can't find it on my digidrive.

Somebody posted a link on the main boards, Posi has part of it as his avatar and said it's been his desktop for a while.

The point of my story is, where'd I see that Iron Man art??!!???

Someone on the old boards, called Tigra or Tiger Woman, or something like that, posted something very similar to that and got the ol' flambaste for saying it was their own work.

While I have no idea whether or not it was an original drawing, the person 'confessed' to being a semi-professional artist irl...

then disappeared (?)

I decided that the incident wasn't worth the attention that some chose to bestow upon it.
