(Movie review by tarky, editing by no one! O_o)

I just went and saw Kung Fu hustle, and i have to say... This movie, Is aws0m3z0rz!!111oneone, It's a subtitled movie, and It had alot of funny lines, and some of the characters Reminded me of Jade empire, But the subtitle-ing made it even Funnier! all the speak is in chinese, with a few jokes of "speak chinese, i can't hear you" when the guys are dying and talking... The plots not really there, just alot of Awsome CG stuff and then some really funny stuff... I mean, my movie theater said on the poster" Ebert and ropert give it two thumbs up "Cross quentin tarintino, with blah blah, and add bugs bunny and you get this" And its true, the comedy, once again is never lacking throughout the movie. I reccomend going to see this, and Im deffinately adding it to my EXTREMELY small DVD collection when it comes out...:)

(err, is this my, LONGEST, post ever?)

I will not post any spoilers, or nuttin! :naughty:

Actually I think Roeper gave it a thumbs down, but whatever. I'm hoping to see it tomorrow myself. :chuckle:

Was it in Mandarin or Cantonese? I might be able to justify this as studying. :)

The most entertaning movie I've seen this year. It was utterly fantastic. The whole theatre laughed the whole way through.

Well that was... wacky. I can't say I'm completely enamored with it. I suppose I tend to prefer my kung fu movies with stunts by acrobatics as opposed to stunts by computer animation. Still, it's a pretty good time at the movies. The fight against the musicians was nail-bitingly good. I also loved the creative use of the funeral bell.

The only real negative I would say about it is I thought some of the fight scenes had some weirdly ill-suited music. Not all, just half or so. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy the popcorn.

I liked it. It wasn't a great movie, but it was definately a good movie.

The plots not really there

I disagree. There is a story there that definately follows the basic structure from start to rising action to climax. I would go into an indepth analysis of the plot but I wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone who is yet to see it ;).

Good movie though. The fight scenes are not like Jackie Chan or Jet Li, but that are well done and comical to boot. I'd give it 2.5 stars.
