View Full Version : Teleporting Energy/Melee stalker

My character T Wrecks is an energy/regen stalker who will eventually teleport. Now, I haven't gotten that deep into the game yet, but I get the sense that there's some serious exploitation issues here. In a matter of seconds, I could zoot in, annihilate one guy, stun another and teep out before anyone could even tell what was happening. Am I right? Wrong?

Wow, Wrecks is a Stalker? I had him totally pegged as a Brute. The name doesn't exactly imply a sneaky person :D

As for the TP exploit, I'm guessing it might be possible, but TP is a real hassle to use. So you mgiht ending up messing everything up and getting killed more than it's worth.
Are you talking PvP or PvE here btw? I'm guessing it wouldn't work in PvE since the mobs would auto-target you and start attack animations (meaning that they would hit you even if you were on the other side of the mission by the time the attack finished.)

I already got a Brute I like alot, Mr. Thud, and none of the powersets in the Brute category really fit Wrecks. So I rethought him as more of a predatory hunter.

I'll be testing this out. I suspect that it wouldn't be hard to sneak in using hide, KO a guy within seconds, and then be 600 yards away before anyone really had a chance to mount a responce. Maybe a blaster could get a shot off (if it's anything like Sky Raider teleporting, it's entirely possible that a grenade could chase me 600 yards around corners). This is the sort of thing that needs to be nipped in the bud before it causes worse problems. Like supression.
